"Would we stay here again? No - not at all. We second the 2 reviews that refer to the manager’s concern with money only. And also the comments about the poor service. It’s a pricey hotel and there are better options on the island - try luxury boutique and 3 hearts guest house. We went there for excursions and also food and the service and atmosphere was much much better."

"Village Hideaways was nothing less than heavenly. The location and the people is what makes this place the best in all of Maldives in my opinion. The tour guide Alho is a child of the ocean. He is just the nicest human being and an unbelievably good tour guide who knows the ocean better than anyone. Selim and Aziz who are managers of the hotel are the kindest and the best cooks we experienced in all of Maldives. They are extremely hospitable and take extremely good care of the guests. I highly recommend this team of Alho, Selim, and Aziz. Best in Maldives"

"I was so impressed by Three Hearts Guesthouse! The owners and staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and pay great attention to every detail — even providing one soft and one firm pillow for each guest’s comfort. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the team offers plenty of useful information about excursions, meal times, and exploring the island. Nayaa Café, which is part of the guesthouse, is super cozy with absolutely delicious food! I was especially impressed by the poke bowl with raw tuna — it was amazing — but honestly, everything I tried was super tasty. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Highly recommend both the guesthouse and the café!"

"I visited three different islands during my visit to Maldives and this hotel was by far the best but also the most expensive for solo traveler from the one I stayed in. The hotel is really well organized. You have a restaurant and common space downstairs and spacious rooms on two upper levels. I stayed in a single room (with a single bed) but the room was really big with balcony, seating area and big bathroom with open shower. Everything was clean and modern. There was an air conditioning and a fan, kitchenette and drinking water. The hotel has a Thai restaurant with delicious Thai food (even though a little bit pricy). Even though the vegetarian offer is limited they are very flexible and can adjust meals to your diet. From time to time the hotel organizes entertainment for its guests (all visitors including locals are welcome though). It is centrally located in the middle of the village (more less where other guesthouses are placed). The staff was very helpful and caring. The only disadvantage I could think off is lack of internet range in the rooms."

"We wanted to stay at a fancy resort, and only booked this place because we left our planning too late and nowhere else was left. Within 5 minutes of arriving on the island we knew that things had worked out better than we could have ever planned! We LOVED our stay at Village Hideaway! Hardy and his team were just the loveliest people and made our Christmas trip so perfect - we will definitely be returning. The island is just perfect and so quiet - you feel like you're on a truly deserted island. We loved the jungle walk across the island, and it was lovely to meet Maldivian people who are just the nicest people in the world. Also, the beds at Village Hideways are SO COMFY! We slept like 12 hours a night :) The trips out snorkelling to see MANTAS and turtles with Alho are brilliant - don't miss them."

"We went in december 2025 with my wife, first of all the food quality was terrible, they only care about the looks of the food not the taste. We had ordered breakfast and dinner, but nowhere was there mentioned that it only included the main dish and one drink. Also the coffee tasted watered down Second the room smelled like mold and the bathroom sinks corners had mold all over them, but not only that, the closet was full of mold and we coudnt hang our clothes. The only thing the cleaners did is they fixed the bed and washed the floors, no other surface was wiped or cleaned."

"The super friendly hosts take pride in their property providing great attention to detail. For example they have little taps outside the rooms to clean your feet, an outdoor shower space (as well as one in your room of course), they provide free big bottles of water everyday, the free breakfasts are different everyday, they provide beach towels so you don't have to bring your own etc.. The setup of the hotel is fantastic. You can walk barefoot from your room to the restaurant which is an open space decorated as if you were in a jungle with a small pond with fish, tropical garden and calming music. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable with A/C. The property itself is big and includes a nice garden area in front with cozy chairs and sofas in the shade where you can get away from the sun and relax. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It has a great location with a beautiful path in the jungle that leads you to the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay and will return to Three Hearts next year."
