The breakfast was of a high quality, with a wide variety of options for all tastes, served in a beautiful room with large windows and spectacular views of the mountains. "5 star hospitality and experience! Wonderful hotel with beautiful views. They gave us very good recommendations of things to see and do in the area when we checked in. Went out of their way to accommodate us when we brought left over lunch by microwaving it for us and giving us plates and cutlery (they have their own restaurant on site so really didn’t need to do this, we really appreciated it!). They provided dark towels for our use at the hot springs and gave us another pair since we had 2 hot spring outings on the same day. The room was cute and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again!"

"Let’s start with the good. Great location to downtown Furnas. The maid did an excellent job cleaning the room. Now for the bad. Unfortunately the key pads are very spotty making it tricky to get in And out of the gate. The first night the ac was not working and the room was stifling hot. I called and management was very unhelpful. Fortunately my husband is very handy and eventually figured out how to get the ac working, but zero help with management. The toilet smelled of back up sewage. Definitely need to address septic issues. The fridge is filled with food, which is nice, but it costs to use the teabags! Chincy in my opinion. Sorry to say, but it’s not a great place."

"We stayed here for a week in May 2025 and it was fantastic. The property is absolutely beautiful. It feels like a secluded jungle but it is only a short walk from supermarkets, restaurants and most of the attractions of Furnas (which is a beautiful town). Our house (Casa do Granel) had everything we needed and was stylishly designed. I didn't see this mentioned in the description or in the pictures but the house had a bathtub, not just a shower, which is always something I appreciate while traveling. The jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath was very nice, as were the friendly cats and ducks around the property. Thanks to Luisa, Abel, Luis, Pamela and all the staff whose names I unfortunately can't remember for their excellent hospitality. Hope we have the opportunity to come back someday."
