"I had learned the management changed this April. My impression was that, it felt like an easygoing, regular business hotel where your personal privacy is well respected. Regarding the room cleanliness and odor I was curious about, everything was fine and I had no particular complaints. Between the coast featuring the old elementary school ruins and the samurai residences up in the hills, there is simply too much to see around Namie in one day, so it worked out as a pretty handy base camp. It seems they are opening a music bar inside the restaurant soon, as I could hear sound from the speakers."

"I was a bit worried after seeing some of the older reviews, but apparently, the operating company changed in May this year. My impression after staying there was that it felt like a relaxed, ordinary business hotel where you could have some privacy, especially when compared to the newer hotels in Futaba. Regarding my concerns about cleanliness and odors, I had no complaints; the hotel was generally clean. As for sightseeing, there are quite a few spots in Namie that you can't cover in a single day, like the coast near Ukedo Elementary School, which still shows scars from the earthquake, or the samurai residences on the mountain side. So, as a base camp for my trip, it was quite convenient. It seems they're opening a music bar in the restaurant, as I could hear music from the speakers."
