"Because the hotel is a single store, we went to the front desk to ask to see the room first. The waiter warmly received us until we booked the room, which was great! When checking in, we were given an upgraded room type, which was 10 square meters larger than what we booked, which was very heartwarming! The service was great! There were not many varieties of breakfast, but they were all hard dishes! You can eat the pan-fried salmon that costs 220 yuan in Fuyuan Dongfang Fishing Port, and you can eat as much as you want for breakfast. There are also high-quality dishes such as cold sour fish and sweet shrimp, which can be eaten here. The hotel is very generous!"

"My first time staying in a hostel was a very different experience. Before check-in, they shared travel tips and check-in information with me. The chartered car service they recommended was excellent; Mr. Shan introduced the local culture and history along the way, he was very attentive and responsible. Later, a lady joined us and chatted with the staff. It seems everyone here has a fun and interesting personality. The hostel's cat was also very well-behaved, and the intangible cultural heritage fridge magnets were quite interesting. I hope to have the opportunity to come back again for the summer solstice!"

"The hotel is in a great location, not far from Dongji Pavilion and Dongming Temple. The room is relatively new, though still smells of renovations, which can be largely alleviated by opening the windows for ventilation. The front desk staff was very helpful and proactively added WeChat to introduce the service, which is a commendable fact. However, the room cleaning was quite poor. A cup smelled of cigarette smoke, likely due to a previous guest using it as an ashtray, but the cleaning staff only gave it a superficial clean. There were long hairs in the bathroom, and I'm not sure if they belonged to a previous guest or the cleaning staff. The breakfast variety was acceptable, but the level of sophistication could be improved. The cooking oil and salt were heavy, the millet porridge was clumpy and didn't seem fresh, and the eggs were overcooked, with the yolk turning gray. I hope this will improve and keep getting better!"

"A note for Ctrip, and for every traveler planning to book this hotel. Conclusion first: We arrived at 5:00 PM and were left with no rooms, so we had to wait in the lobby for their room to be cleaned. We received no compensation. We were treated like "criminals" while breakfast was served, and our three-year-old was so frightened she couldn't even cry. These two points warrant one star. ——— Check-in: Room still not cleaned at 5:00 PM. We booked a "family room." The front desk was polite on the surface, but we received no upgrade, no drink coupons, and no late checkout. We waited in the lobby with our children, exhausted from our travels, accepting this as "normal." Breakfast: A hefty 28 yuan per person. My room included two breakfasts, and I used Ctrip points to redeem one, for a total of three. From the moment we entered the breakfast room, a voice began repeating: "No waste! Waste will be charged 28 yuan per person!"—Note: This wasn't a reminder; it was a high-pitched, high-frequency shouting. My three-year-old daughter was just grabbing a few chips to dip in ketchup when she accidentally dropped one. The male waiter immediately snapped at her, "Don't waste it!" The child was stunned and tears welled up in her eyes, daring not to cry. For the rest of the meal, she couldn't even lift her head, let alone feed herself a few mouthfuls. An older man patrolled like a supervisor, his voice drowning out the clatter of dishes: "No waste! If you do, you'll be charged 28 yuan per person!" My dad, always a believer in "less trouble is more trouble" when traveling, was so fed up at this hotel that he complained to the front desk about the breakfast. This, more importantly, scared the kids. I wanted to say, "If a hotel can't afford a 28 yuan breakfast, don't include it. If you include it, you're treating me like a human being (I don't even expect you to treat me like a guest! That's so undignified.") After more than 20 days of self-driving, staying in more than a dozen hotels, my parents said this was the first time they felt like they were being given alms, like prisoners being guarded. We weren't just enjoying a 28 yuan breakfast; we were being humiliated by it over and over again. If this is what "breakfast included" service means, please remove the "included"; at least retain some respectability. Please record this truthfully on Ctrip, and please choose wisely if you're coming after us."

"A very satisfying experience. The receptionist, number 66, was very welcoming and provided detailed information about the places we wanted to visit. The breakfast was especially delicious; highly recommended. It's rare to find a hotel that offers such good service at such a reasonable price."

"The room is huge! Clean, the shower has everything you need. The bathroom is separate. Cons: the hotel is on the third floor without an elevator, but that's my problem – I didn't check. The room was clean and tidy, there was no peculiar smell, and the bed was comfortable. I had to get up early the next day to watch the sunrise, and I only slept for 5 hours, but it was the deepest sleep I had in the past few days. The proprietress also suggested the itinerary for the next day and recommended a great master and travel guide. He introduced and cared for me carefully along the way, and patiently took me to travel around this beautiful city of Fuyuan. Next time I come or if my friends are going to Fuyuan, I must recommend staying in a distant home. It was just that I arrived too late and forgot to take pictures of my comfortable room. "Traveling solo to escape the high temperatures in Southern China, I booked the Baite Inn based on reviews. Later, due to a change in plans, I ended up staying an extra two nights. The decor is new, and the bathroom drainage is quick with no leakage issues. The room has air conditioning, which is great for hot nights and afternoons. The owner's service was thoughtful; they let me check in four hours early when I arrived in the morning. During my stay, they also offered practical help and recommended restaurants. They were truly kind and helpful, making me feel absolutely safe and at ease. The sheets and towels are all handled by a professional laundry service, so cleanliness is definitely guaranteed."

Fuyuan Donglai Business Hotel
"The room was just okay, and the bathroom facilities were poorly maintained. The floor drain was clogged, so water from the shower would leak all over the floor, seeping out from under the shower door. The main issue was the drain itself, which was full of hair that hadn't been cleaned out, so we had to clear it ourselves to prevent flooding. We even had to use our own towels to wipe up the floor. What's even worse is that the towels provided on the second day were damp! They claimed they didn't have enough time to dry them and asked for our understanding, which was just ridiculous. I honestly don't recommend this hotel. Plus, the location isn't great either. They say it's close to People's Square, but there are very few amenities nearby, and it's all uphill, making it a tough walk. To get to the riverside park or the food street, you need to drive or take a taxi. Seriously, I do not recommend this hotel. After booking so many hotels on Ctrip, this is the first time I've had such a terrible experience."
