"It's hard to put into words how awful the whole hotel is. At check-in, the lady didn't speak a word except Italian, and then, as if I were disabled, she wrote down everything I paid for, since I had to pay on arrival, as if I didn't know what I'd booked. The room was a disaster. See photos: rotten grout, dirt, dust, a lamp hanging off the mirror, etc. It's time for a thorough renovation. I'd say the reception doesn't deserve a single word, but that's a disappointment too. Really. No helpfulness, no information, no assistance. The gentleman had more important things to do; he bought a car online or something. He didn't like it when I dared to ask for two plates. He gave me one, immediately said I had to return it... so I returned it because it was dirty, and then I got two paper plates. They had information from 2023 stuck to them... I beg your pardon. There are probably broken printers and piles of paper lying around everywhere, trash in the courtyard. The side door is always open, it squeaks constantly, it's incredibly annoying and loud. And the highlight: breakfast. I've never experienced anything worse. Spoiled milk, rock-hard rolls, the same pastries and cold cuts for several days, and at 9:04 a.m. there were no boiled eggs. I asked for them, and the response was a shrug. For three days there was fruit salad, and then this happened, no matter when the guest arrived: a moldy lemon! Not just a few stains, but it's a miracle it didn't end up in the trash. Horrible. Nobody even once asked me if everything was alright. The only positive thing was that the boy at breakfast apparently couldn't restrain himself and behaved very modestly, and the cleaning staff were also polite. Not recommended! A waste of money."

"We were with our dog 1 week in Hotel Livia. Very nice facility. We had a room in the OG in the back area. The room is beautifully furnished. The bathroom is a little small but acceptable. The garden with the pool is very nice. Through a traffic-relented street you can walk comfortable to Gargnano. Very nice place with port. Many nice restaurants. Aceptable price level. The staff in the hotel is very hearty and always helpful. Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. The bar offers drinks and little food. We felt very well and we're sure to come back."
