"A quiet place to commune with nature, Ferra Resort Siargao is perfect for those who are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Siargao. We stayed at their Bahay Kubo accommodation for 5 days and what I love most was it's seclusion from other villas. We had our own balcony overlooking the beach and the room has all the amenities that you'll be needing for a comfortable stay. They do not have a TV but we never needed one as we often walk along the shores in the beachfront. The resort has a communal kitchen and dining area which we actually used most of the time during our stay. There are actually some villas with thier own kitchens. There's also a standby generator set during power outages. The staff are very friendly especially with our 3-yr.old son who calls them his "friends". He would automatically wake up each morning telling us that he needs to see them to say "Good morning". It is minutes away from the center of General Luna and you can rent a motorbike from them or use the public transport. We also arranged some tours from them. Overall, it's a beautiful place with beautiful people who loves their guests and go beyond their way to attend to their needs."

"Do not recommend. Poor experience, attitude and lack of accountability. They do not adhere to their cancellation policy, which purportedly offers a full refund when cancelled 3 days before arriving. They tried to charge me almost 12% for a stay over two months away. Sadly just another example of a business that tries to squeeze every penny out of tourists. For some reason they refused to refund me through the original transaction, instead deciding to create a new transaction and incur extra fees, while charging me the original fee twice. Communication overall was also very difficult. Dozens of emails were exchanged trying to cancel one of my two bookings."

"The location is gorgeous, and the huts face the sunrise! The staff are so helpful and friendly. They helped me organise travel back to the airport at the end of my stay, and they have a really talented surfing instructor on-site. The huts are really clean and well maintained. All I would say is, as it's a hut, you can't be squeamish about things like ants or geckos, and the internet connection in my hut was a bit weak. But overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation. Very good price as well. I loved it there!"

"I had a comfortable stay there, the room was clean, amenities were adequate, hot showers were available, staff was accommodating, utensils were available as well, you can cook to save on food expenses as there are also pots, pans, and a stove for you to use. The homestay also provides inland and island hopping tours as well as surfing lessons. The road going to the homestay is still unpaved and can get very muddy if rain occurs. Overall I still enjoyed the place. Thank you!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Reside Siargao! My sea-view studio felt like my little home on the island. I especially loved how thoughtfully the unit was set up—everything I needed for a comfortable stay was already provided. The staff were always warm, friendly, and accommodating, and I also appreciated the 24/7 security, which made the building feel very safe and secure. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in Siargao. I think I’ve found my home away from home on the island. Thank you, Reside!"

"The Beach House is a very nice place to stay in General Luna. It’s directly at the beach and you can see the sea from your bed. It also has a private terrace, which you can see on the picture. The people are very nice and help out with everything, also renting a scooter is quite easy. The accommodation is big and has a lot of space for your stuff. I would recommend staying at the beach house!"

"It's located in the heart of General Luna. Its rooms, while not many, stand out more for being a studio apartment than a simple room. That is, it has a (large) refrigerator, a free bottle of drinking water, a sofa, a table, an electric kettle, reusable bottles, a television, a balcony, and everything you could want to enjoy your stay. The reception desk also has board games and cards for free, which will be useful in case of those occasional downpours that can happen in Siargao. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. They also rent motorcycles and bicycles, arrange tours, and arrange transfers to and from the airport. They do EVERYTHING right! In your room, you'll find a notebook with all the necessary information about Siargao. The best restaurants, bars, tours, attractions, etc. I highly recommend taking a look at this notebook. It's very helpful. It has a small pool, but it's perfectly in keeping with the hotel's location. The atmosphere here is very peaceful and relaxed. You're within walking distance of everything, but we recommend renting some transportation and you'll always be in touch with all the bars and restaurants nearby. It was a wonderful experience in Siargao, an island we loved! And even more so after staying in Kalipay. Thank you for everything! We hope to return. Greetings from Argentina 🙂"

"Really liked the hotel, good location, lots of great places nearby, beautiful green grounds. I was impressed with the service and cleaning; before this, I stayed at Four Points on Boracay, and the cleaning there was much worse. Overall, it has a decent restaurant and probably one of the prettiest on the island. The Greek salad was delicious, and the breakfasts with omelets were great. However, the berry bowls weren't very good. Great value for money – I recommend it."

"The staff here are excellent. Family vibes. There’s beautiful greenery, and multiple spots to hang out. Spent a lot of time at the hostel. Wish there were curtains on the beds, and toilet paper supplied, but they are an eco conscious hostel which I appreciate. Get a motor bike as youre a bit further away, and careful on the dirt road to the hostel! Be prepared for cold showers with unpleasant smelling water, and power outages. Overall, would definitely recommend this very lovely place to anyone headed to siargao looking for a place to chill out for a while"
