"HOTEL SHOULD ME CALL A MOTEL GOOD FOR A ONE DAY STAY..ARRIVED ON 8/6/23.LATE NIGHT JUST WANTED TO SHOWER AND GO TO BED WAKING UP NEXT MORNING DISCOVER DIRTY PILLOW SWEAT STAINS AND LIKE PEOPLE DRIBBLE ON PILLOW SHEET DIRTY STAINS ON SHEET.CARPET SMELL MOLDY BATH ROOM DAMP ..A/C NOT WORKING A LITTLE STAND UP FAN IN THE CORNER..TOLD THE MANAGER ABOUT CONDITION WAS TRANSFER TO A ROOM BELOW ON DAY TWO DOWN STAIRS I GOT UP TO A COCKROACH ON MY ARM.I JUST HAD ABOUT ENOUGH WITH THIS HOTEL (SHOULD BE MOTEL)..I ASK THE MANAGER FOR A THREE OR A FOUR DAY REFUND SO I CAN GO TO A REAL HOTEL TO NO AVAIL SHE REFUSE ..WHEN I GO OUT I DREAD COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE..O BEFORE I FORGOT .NO SAFE DEPOSIT BOX TO KEEP YOUR VALUABLE OR PASSPORT..NO PHONE SERVICE IN OR OUT TO MAKE OR RECEIVE CALL..NO WI-FI SERVICE..COULD NOT COMPLAIN TO JET BLUE ..RESTUARANT BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE..NO LUNCH MENU NO DINNER MENU..THE MANAGER DONT..THIS PLACE HAVE A CLUE ON MAKING DECISION OR MAKING THE RIGHT PHONE CALLS TO MAKE GUEST FEEL WELCOME AND AT HOME..THIS PLACE SUCK FOR A HOTEL..IT SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN AND GET RID OF STAFF AND MANAGEMENT AND START NEW AND TRAIN STAFF AND MANAGEMENT ABOUT SPEAKING TO CUSTOMERS WITH COURTESY AND RESPECT TONE OF VOICE ETC ETC..PLEASE DONOT GO TO THIS HOTEL (MOTEL)'' "

"The hotel definitely has character. But also comes with some downsides. Was noisy. Service was generally abysmal (not a word I use often!). We stayed on 3 different occasions and sadly our experiences were pretty consistent. Food very mediocre and service incredibly slow. Did have a rum tasting dinner at the hotel (though this was organised by our tour company -Wilderness Explorers - absolutely fantastic!!) and this was good. Didn't help my husband left his AirPods on the bedside table and they got stolen (presumably by the cleaners). He actually could trace them for a period of time to the block down from the hotel!. The hotel was not interested and never followed up (my view was it was his own fault for leaving them but the complete disinterest by the hotel was poor as it was obviously one of their staff that took them as they were left in a locked bedroom). Suggest you stay one or two nights to experience the history but for longer stay somewhere else!! And eat elsewhere too!!"
