"The hotel has a superb location: close to the woods and the town centre, quiet. The rooms are spacious, a bit dated but very clean. A light in the middle of the ceiling would provide better lighting. The bathroom is big enough, but the shower is in the bath and there is very little space to get into it. A bathmat is missing, so a bit slippery in the bath. From the balcony we had a beautiful view over the area. Do not eat at the restaurant, it's rubbish. The breakfast is good, but could do with more variety ( every day the same meats and cheeses and the bread not always fresh)."

"The hotel management is the worst one we visited in our life. No respect, no understanding, no hospitality, no response on emails, does not speak other language just German on the phone, contrary as written on the hotel website ("Hospitality is in our blood" - hahaha). Avoid for visiting this hotel."

Landhaus Müllenborn ★★★

"With excellent views across the valley, this Alpine lodge-style hotel has an impressive terrace. Ascend the creaking old staircase, and you could be stepping back in time. Visitors of today experience much the same arrival (up a very steep service road) as those a century ago would have done. The rooms are generally good. Bathrooms look a bit tired, but to fully update this place would cost a fortune and would sacrifice the old-world charm. Maria, the owner, is friendly and bubbly. Her manager, however, spoke little English. In hot weather it needs more fans in the rooms. Some rooms have very low ceilings indeed. Hotel restaurant menu is limited in scope (and time limits). Breakfast is basic, but OK."
