"The hot spring water, which shone a pale green, was very warming. I was a little concerned about the faucets in the washing area and the mold on the walls, but the view of the Agano River flowing from the bath window and the morning sun sparkling on the water's surface was very relaxing. We were able to enjoy our meals at our leisure in a semi-private room. The room was spacious and the building was quiet, so we had no complaints. It's not a big hot spring town, but it's a hidden gem, less than an hour from Niigata city, making it a town like a secret retreat for Niigata residents."
