"That was amazing! Our room was perfect: clean, warm with view in the cosiest yard of the hotel!!! Amazing! We had tea and coffee and a kettle. A lot of light there!!! Friendly people at the reception! Delicious breakfast!!! If you hesitate whether you need breakfast there, include it!!! That was soooo good! There were variety of cheese, pastries, sausages, fruit, beverages!!! The hotel is 15 minutes from the station and right next to the Christmas market!!! I hope I’ll come there one more time!"

"The traffic is very convenient, super close to the train station, across the street is the bus stop sign, you can sit directly to the palace and the mine museum. The room was clean, although close to the train station, our room was very quiet. The lady at the front desk service was very good and the introduction was very detailed. I gave two guest cards and brochures. With this, there is a discount on buying tickets at the attraction, and you can also take the bus for free."

"This year, too, my wife and I spent five wonderful days in the wellness oasis "Hotel Restaurant Walpurgishof" in the run-up to Christmas. Our expectations were exceeded time and time again. The spacious and immaculate comfort double room offered us the ideal retreat. Equipped with a balcony and a modern bathroom, it lacked no comfort. Our palates were pampered daily with a varied breakfast buffet and varied three-course menus (we had booked half board). The spa area, although small, once again proved to be a pleasant oasis of relaxation. Cleanliness and a calming atmosphere dominated this area, which offered a sauna landscape and a refreshing swimming area. The wide range of treatments in the wellness area, such as the "aroma bath for two" that we booked, is particularly praiseworthy. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff contributed greatly to our well-being. From reception to the restaurant to the spa, we were always warmly welcomed and looked after. Our five-day stay at the Hotel Walpurgishof was an unforgettable break that we will repeat next year. A big thank you goes to the entire team for this relaxing time."

"Well, the reviews were a bit mixed, but we still went there with our grandchild and were generally pleasantly surprised. It would certainly have earned a higher rating if the need for renovations weren't so obvious. In any case, it's clean and you can sleep well. Sure, the whole place is stuck in the 70s, but it's very affordable. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. I haven't had freshly baked rolls in a hotel in ages. And dinner was also good and plentiful. We were satisfied. The staff always had everything beautifully prepared. The small swimming pool was perfectly adequate and we used it frequently. It was a shame, though, that some older guests went on holiday with a certain underlying dissatisfaction and made sure everyone, especially the staff, knew it. Then they wrote ridiculous reviews. Here's a simple suggestion: just stay home, then you won't have to get worked up about little things. Thank you for the lovely short break, and also a piece of advice for the owner: you need to do some structural work, even if it's difficult, otherwise you won't survive the next 5 years, and that would be a real shame!"

"The small village where the hotel is located is an attraction, so there are many choices for eating. There are even Chinese restaurants and some shops. The hotel itself is quiet and parking is more convenient. Of course, it is understandable that such a homestay is cleaned up for one guest, but it is inconvenient to stay for many days without cleaning for business trips. The hotel does not have breakfast."
