"We spent 200e for one night for a suite with a jacuzzi where the bed sheets and one pillow had various prints on them and a lot of dirt. We also had our baby with us and there was dust everywhere in his crib. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially someone with children!!! We spoke to the reception and after the girl came to see it, she told us that it was the washing machine's fault, but it's not our fault that we waste 200e on something that doesn't deserve it!!!!!"

"One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The place itself is average: generic pool, bland rooms, and forgettable breakfast, but it’s the people running it who ruin everything. The so-called manager is apathetic to guests and slippery with responsibility: sometimes he claims he’s “just an employee,” other times he insists he’s the manager, whichever excuse lets him avoid dealing with problems. When the entire hotel went without electricity and water for half a day, he disappeared completely. Later he even joked it was “a good day” for him because he stayed home instead of helping guests who had no showers, no toilets, no information. The owner is worse: arrogant, dismissive, and uncultured. When they lost my reservation, I was left waiting for hours. When I complained, he told me I was making “a fuss about nothing,” then actually shouted at me to leave the hotel. No apology, no responsibility, just hostility. In short: average hotel, despicable people. If you value even basic hospitality or self-respect, look elsewhere"

"Beautiful small hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Very nice staff who will accommodate any request. Good food and drinks, reasonable prices. Nice and clean rooms. The beach is a bit further from the hotel but if you don't mind walking, you can get there in a few minutes."

"The hotel is amazing , great location , very clean and modern .comfy beds and beautiful view from the balcony . The food was amazing fresh and delicious . The staff is great too specially manager Antonis, receptionist Sofia ,and Eleftheria , Thanasis , Kostis head chef , Geraldine and Richele . Will definitely return back . It has beautiful location to the Heraklion city and beaches . Walk distance to Dinosaurs land and Aquarium"

"Hotel is beautiful and so peaceful, we have spent such a lovely relaxing week here. Such a beautiful setting just across the road to the sea and a short stroll to the sandy beach The atmosphere here is so friendly, Joanna and Zinon at the pool bar are amazing, they make you feel so welcome and like you’re part of a family, we’re going to miss them - they are a true asset to this hotel! Rooms and all communal spaces are kept immaculate, the cleaning team are brilliant! Gournes is a really laid back, “old Greece” resort, traditional tavernas and really friendly locals and such great value for money! Gouves Animal Shelter is about 20 mins walk and you can go and help walk their dogs on the beach or just sit and cuddle the puppies and cats! An amazing charity and well worth a visit, we went back a few times! Overall, a really lovely hotel, beautiful peaceful location and still feels like old Greece"

Niros Beachfront Aparthotel

"This place was not what I hoped and it's not a 3 star. Our sheets and towels were stained (make up on towels; sheets and under- bedding unsure what the stain was). Was not a clean space. All spaces could use updating. Poor fixes around the suite. Yes, you have to pay 5€ for air conditioning, taking you back to the 80s. They give you one sheet to sleep with. Just yuck."

"We've just returned from a fantastic holiday at this amazing hotel. Our seafront 1st floor apartment was spotless, spacious and had a great balcony. Dimitri, the hotel manager and his staff were brilliant. 10 out of 10 for everything. Bed linen and towels were top quality and changed every couple of days. Even the pool towels were great. Thank you for making our holiday such a wonderful experience."
