"Booking on line about 35 bucks cheaper. Requested a room that is not pet friendly and got it. Really pleased with that. Also got the handicapped room which I didn't need but it was great! Huge bathroom, soaps and shampoo/conditioner mounted on the walls. I had my own but thought it was a nice touch. Great breakfast, made my very own Belgium waffle. Fresh lemon water, coffee and teas available. Comfy bed, easy check in, great staff. I visit Port St. Joe often and Mainstays is my Go To. I'll be back soon."

"Words can not describe the level of service we received from Ana during our visit to Cape San Blas Inn. It started on our drive there when we received a call from our boat rental company stating the boat we reserved for the next day was no longer available due to mechanical issues and that they had no replacements. We called several other boat rental companies and boat captains, but everyone was booked considering it was a weekend during scallop season. Out of desperation we called the Cape San Blas Inn just to see if they knew anyone that may have a boat available. Ana answered and got on the phone calling multiple people she knew. She ended up getting us a reservation with one of their neighbors that had no plans of chartering a boat! When we checked into the Inn Ana treated us like family. She catered to our every need by going above and beyond what we expected. She even stayed late one night cooking the scallops we had caught that morning and they were delicious! We stayed in the Turtle Shell Suite. It was nice, but nothing special. Based on the description we thought the master bed and queen size leather sleeper sofa were in two different sections of the room. However, when we got there we noticed there would be very little, if any, room in between the two if we used the sofa as a bed. The view was decent, but we spent very little time in the room. All in all Ana made this one of our best experiences ever at a hotel/B&B!"

"My wife and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary at Cape San Blas. The island and the Inn were both fantastic. We stayed in the Clam Shell room. It was quite comfortable and clean. On our next visit, we plan on splurging on the Turtle Shell room. Breakfast was very good, and trading conversation with the other guests made it even better. The innkeeper was very helpful, suggesting restaurants, things to see, etc., while at the same time never in your way. The location is super convenient to everything on the cape and Port St Joe. The properties included amenities, bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, a hot tub, and a real breakfast make it a great value, too. Sitting on the dock at sunset, watching the mullet jump in the bay our only disappointment was asking ourselves, “Why did we wait 43 years?”"
