Amazing
CCallum TOverall a disappointing stay with Crimson. It started off bad and really never improved sadly. Our flight into Caticlan was delayed 5 hours, arriving at 19:30. I was in communication with Crimson throughout the delay updating them on our progress and estimated arrival time. They had warned me that they don’t organise transfers after 8pm. However, upon arrival they had left us to transit to the hotel via a third party provider. This provider was fine, and did their job, but it was a transfer that involved stopping at 3 other hotels - very much not the private 5 star experience we had been promised, taking 1 hour and a half. The fact they did not wait until 8pm, when other resorts were prepared and waiting, was a big disappointment. The transfer was eventually provided for free after our experience - which to be honest is the bare minimum. It’s insane I even had to pay for the transfer considering most 5 star hotels would provide this for free. Whilst the rooms were fine, the service was extremely disappointing throughout. Check-in took ages, and for some reason there is no aircon in anywhere outside the restaurants and rooms, so we were stuck sweating after an 8 hour journey whilst waiting the 30 minutes to check in. Additionally, every single request we made was either ignored or took ages. I had requested decorations in the room to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, but received nothing. I managed to get things organised whilst there, but after requesting matches to light a candle, these never arrived. Add on the fact we would have to request water multiple times before any showed up and it was all just very frustrating. We had booked a sea view room, but were unable to fully enjoy it as it was located directly in front of the infinity pool, with guests able to see directly into the privacy of our bedroom due to the lack of any noticeable tinting on the windows. The rooms were also not soundproofed, and we had to wake up early every day to the sounds of screaming children using the pool in front of our room. No amenities were on offer - no access to water bottles without requesting or paying, no access to coffee without paying, no welcome or departure drinks, no free water on the beach (which is seriously just dangerous). Crimson certainly has a 5 star beach and sea. The access to the beach is superb and the sand and sea were typically excellent, but it’s not as if Crimson has control over these things. In fact despite the environmental fee, I regularly saw some litter in the sea and on the beach. It felt very budget in the way they treat you. There are shuttles to the centre but these run almost every 3 hours and are often packed, offered on a first come first serve basis. Every little thing is charged too. For a check out at 12pm instead of 11am, it’s 2000PHP. There’s no way to charge anything to rooms to pay upon check out (like every other hotel) if you do not have a credit card. Debit cards are no good for the deposit apparently. We just stayed at Piece Lio in El Nido, which was far far far superior. It’s a real shame because Crimson does not do service to a terrific sea and stunning location. It may be the most modern 5 star hotel on the island but honestly just pay the extra and go to the Shangri-La. It’s almost as if they knew how bad it was. We weren’t even asked how our stay was upon checking out, as if they were dreading the answer. It felt like an American diner leaving, where they just wanted us out the room as quickly as possible to make space for their next cash cow. We even arrived at the airport 3 hours early for a domestic flight for some reason.

DDaniel123On my previous review, I mentioned some of the drawback regarding this hotel. On my recent stay, they have managed to turn things around and made my whole stay an enjoyable one. The staffs were proactive in asking if I need any assistance. The room is clean and spacious and they had more variety of foods for their buffet breakfast. I would most likely stay here again.

MMarielle29Henann Prime Beach Resort: Unmatched Tranquility at Boracay's Station 1 The Henann Prime Beach Resort offers the quintessential luxury Boracay experience, perfectly balancing the signature reliability of the Henann brand with a peaceful, prime location. Situated directly on the highly coveted stretch of White Beach in Station 1, this resort is an ideal choice for travelers seeking both beauty and tranquility away from the heavy foot traffic of Station 2. Prime Location and Beachfront Serenity What immediately sets Henann Prime apart is its location. Station 1 boasts the widest, whitest, and quietest part of the famous beach. Guests have direct, almost private access to this spectacular shoreline, complete with Henann's comfortable sun loungers and beach umbrellas. Watching the legendary Boracay sunset from their beachfront dining area or one of the ocean-view rooms is an absolute must-do—it is truly breathtaking. Thoughtful Design and Luxurious Accommodations The resort is thoughtfully designed in two wings (East Wing and Beach Wing), connected by a walkway, ensuring all guests feel secure and well-attended. Our room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, a common theme praised across all recent reviews. The premium bedding and high-quality fixtures, including the separate bathtub and shower, provided true relaxation. For a special treat, the rooms with direct pool access are highly recommended, allowing you to step straight into the water from your private balcony. Top-Tier Service and Culinary Highlights The staff at Henann Prime truly embodies Filipino hospitality. The service is consistently top-notch, characterized by attentiveness and genuine warmth from the front desk to the housekeeping team. A major highlight is the breakfast buffet served at Sea Salt Cafe. It is massive and offers a wide variety of delicious options, spanning Filipino, American, and other international cuisines. The quality and variety of the food alone make the stay worthwhile. Final Verdict Henann Prime Beach Resort delivers an outstanding experience characterized by its superior location, exceptional cleanliness, and the high standard of service expected from the Henann group. It represents excellent value for money considering its placement in the most desirable area of the island. If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable retreat right on the sands of Station 1, this resort is simply one of the best choices available.

GGuest UserI had a great time staying at Henann Palm Resort in Boracay. The resort is very nice and well-located, just a few steps from the beach. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. I really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Sshyshy13They were nice, respectful, and helpful while we were still checked in but once we checked out, that hospitality completely disappeared. We got stranded in Boracay and had to check out right in the middle of a typhoon. Unfortunately, the staff refused to even lend my boyfriend an umbrella for a few minutes so we could safely get to our transport. To make things worse, I wasn’t feeling well and had started to develop a fever. Let’s be honest, Hennan is not a budget hotel. You expect a certain level of service and compassion, even after you checked out especially in extreme weather conditions. It was disappointing and frustrating to feel like the care and courtesy we received only applied while we were still paying guests. After checkout, it felt like we didn’t matter at all. For the price you pay, I expected better treatment at the very least, a bit of kindness and understanding during such a difficult situation. Sadly, this experience left me feeling robbed and deeply disappointed.

MManu GuedesWonderful Stay at Coast Boracay Our experience at Coast Boracay was nothing short of fantastic! The location is ideal, right on White Beach with stunning views and easy access to the sand. 🏝️ The rooms were modern, spacious, and comfortable, with great amenities. We especially enjoyed the delicious food and the friendly, attentive staff who made sure we felt at home. 🏠 The pool area was perfect for a relaxing time. GGuest UserUpon check-in, there was no welcome amenity whatsoever – no cocktails, no refreshing hand towels that others mentioned in their reviews. On top of that, the room lacked essentials like toothbrushes, coffee, and tea. The shower gel in the bathroom was almost empty. The breakfast was terrible: if you didn't grab what you wanted fast enough, it was gone. Pineapples ran out and were replaced with watermelon; waffles ran out and were replaced with pancakes. Black coffee was free, but cappuccino cost extra, and you couldn't even order it (I stood at the bar for about 5 minutes, and no one paid attention). Breakfast was extremely crowded, leading to chaos and no clean tables. You had to chase down staff just to get forks, spoons, and glasses. After breakfast, we returned to our room to find toothbrushes had been placed there. So, they simply forgot them on the first day (we hadn't even mentioned it). However, the beach, just a 5-minute walk away, was so magnificent that everything else felt minor.

Kk_fr_23We stayed in Movenpick for one whole week following the recommendation from a friend who stayed there twice already when she traveled to Boracay, and on the whole, we didn’t regret this choice either. We’ll share some positive things first, then negative. It was our first time to visit the island, and we knew that the White Beach area is always crowded, full of beggars and people offering you to go sailing or try out massage at their salon literally every five steps which is quite annoying. On the contrary, Movenpick is a quiet and secluded place where you can enjoy your vacations at the fullest. The prices in the resort restaurants are almost the same as in the White Beach cafes, maybe a little higher, but the food is way more delicious (we especially loved the dishes in Brezza). We didn’t expect it to be so good after reading some negative reviews on Ctrip, so it was a nice surprise. The breakfast was also amazing, with a variety of options and outstanding service (and they do have black coffee, so don’t trust those who mention that there is no coffee at the breakfast buffet). But what impressed us most was a very warm and friendly attitude of all staff to every single guest. They always approached us with a big smile, and after several days of staying, they could even remember our cocktail preferences at daily Happy Hour! Nice little sweet treats at Chocolate hour, live music from 6pm daily, plenty of space and activities offered at the resort - we loved it a lot. However, there are some tiny things you must know before booking. Half of the swimming pool might be closed for maintenance, which is totally understandable yet isn’t what you expect when choosing this hotel (neither it is convenient nor pleasant to see). Although the rooms are comfortable and clean, you can see they haven’t been renovated for a while (AC/fridge are quite noisy, some things like shower gel dispenser might get broken easily - but they can be replaced at once if you inform the hotel). Last, if you are unlucky with neighbours (especially if there’s a family with an infant in the room one floor above yours), then you might enjoy terrible noise all the day as the rooms are not soundproof. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights, and only on the 3rd night we were offered a bigger room for sleeping overnight (but the AC was loud there, not to mention some weird sounds outside in the middle of the night - could be an electricity generator or something else - that woke us up and we had to move back to our main room with the hope that our neighbours were fast asleep). In a word, it is recommended to bring some earplugs and not hesitate to inform the receptionists about any problem you have at once and ask for an immediate solution. Generally speaking, if we ever decide to return to Boracay for vacations, it’s highly likely we will choose Movenpick for the whole stay time again.

YYson VlogThey upgraded us to a villa room near the pool area, as Im with my Senior parents, The hotel has no lift, so better if you are with senior book the lower ground floor, Then got briefing after check in, if want to clean the room leave the key at the counter, however our room was not clean as per the briefing. The food was nice, mostly cooked without oil, except for the fried chicken. The room a but old but acceptable. Overall is ok. With souvenir bracelet personalized with your name
