"We spent four days with family at Argyle resort. We had a wonderful time!! The staff were amazing! From the gardener, Bell Captain, restaurant staff, reception etc.. The management staff, Mr. Jana and Mr. Nathan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! The reception staff were very efficient, especially the guest relations representative, Ms. Rushanthi. She made sure that all our needs were met and she did it with a smile! Our daughter had fractured her ankle and she couldn’t walk. The Bell Captain, Mr. Sudarshan and steward Mr. Nadine were very helpful and friendly, taking her around, especially when she needed the wheelchair. The restaurant staff, from assistant manager Mr Imran to restaurant supervisor, Mr Udaya made sure all our needs were met. Mr Udaya and the entire restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful! The Chefs, Dinuka and Dimuthu made sure we had a range of delicious meals during our stay! Each dish was prepared exceptionally well and the staff under them were very well trained and they made sure all dishes were full at any time during the buffet. They also made a special birthday cake and spring rolls and helped me celebrate my birthday with the family!! It is clear that all staff are empowered and very well trained! So kudos to the management!! For entertainment, there is pool table in the bar area and other board games, an outdoor heated pool and a karaoke room etc..There are hiking trails for people who like outdoor activities. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday at Argyle and will definitely return!!"

"Very beautiful place. Very clean. It’s not a hotel but a very nice place to stay. Very clean place. Tasty food. If you want to spend some quiet time away from the hazel of the cities this is the place. The caretaker anjana is a wonderful person. He will make you feel at home. The rest of the staff very supportive. I recommend this place to anyone who would like a tranquil holiday."

"I came here for a 10 day vacation aiming to relax, sleep well, eat well, run and ride my bike, do some gym workouts and repeat. This place suited me 100%. The staff are the most friendly and supportive people you can find in a hostel, always asking for your preference and liking, it is so humbling how kind they are. The food is diverse, clean, delicious and healthy. The place itself is clean and tidy, smells pretty nice and well aerated. If you’re someone who is running away from crowded cities and noise, and looking for a place where you can breath clean and cold air, wake up in the morning facing beautiful sunrise behind the tea plants and green hills, then congratulations, you have arrived to your destination. All of that and more was with a price tag that did not break my bank account. I don’t know what else can I ask for."
