"We stayed 3 nights and attended 2-day cooking school. The cooking school was enjoyable and we learned a few things, although it was over-priced in our opinion. The room was clean and nice. The grounds appeared to be in the process of some improvement, although some areas were overgrown. The biggest change (new owners 2 years ago) was the breakfast food and service. Breakfast historically has been gourmet, now is very basic at best. The service was hurried, ran out of self-serve coffee one of the mornings."

"Enjoyed our stay very much. The room was the Jasmin and was clean spacious and nice. Our breakfast was either brought to our room or the main building. We went to the main build so that we could enjoy the birds and scenery. The staff were all very courteous and the area was very nice. We saw lots of deer and birds/squirrels. Enjoyed our visit very much."

"My niece recently got married at Camp Lucy, and while the venue itself is undeniably beautiful, our overall experience was very disappointing. The property and scenery are stunning, and it initially seemed like the perfect place for such a special occasion. Unfortunately, the staff completely overshadowed that beauty. Many of the staff members we encountered were rude and unhelpful, which made guests feel unwelcome rather than cared for. The restaurant service was another major issue. Multiple people in our group mentioned how long it took to be served, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. It wasn’t just our experience—others we spoke with had the same complaints. To make matters worse, they refused to seat more than six people together, which made it impossible for our family to dine as a group. Because of this, we ended up having to go somewhere else to eat. It’s unfortunate because the setting has so much potential, but the poor service and lack of hospitality really took away from what should have been a joyful and memorable weekend."
