"Families like the restaurant and bar for post evening activities. BE AWARE, The pool is NOT secure. The gate to the pool can be opened from the front parking lot without a key.Being on the interstate frontage makes it loud outside as well. A more secure pool area would be required for me to come back with my family Ice makers weren't working but the front desk had access to bar/restaurant ice maker. Filtered water and coffee were always available in lobby. Not impressed with breakfast. BE AWARE, a google review will get you a free breakfast. Kids 11u eat free. Otherwise it'll set you back $10. I'd consider breakfast avg if it were included, but expected more since it's an add-on. Only one of the 2 stairwells reach the lobby directly. Only 1 of the 2 elevators were available, having the internal stairwell is very important."

"We have stayed at all types of accommodations over the years and appreciate the differences in each. We enjoyed our stay but do have some mixed feelings about Creekhaven. First, the positive: the staff was friendly, especially the lady on our last day. The room (Creek House) was spacious and comfortable. I loved the bed, though a bit soft for my husband. The area is peaceful and quiet while still being very close to town, though I would not say walkable in the summer heat. The breakfasts were delicious and we loved that they brought them to our room! We even requested some of the recipes they were so tasty. We enjoyed eating on the porch each morning though there is no creek view due to the steep creek bank. The cons: the grounds need work. There are unsightly extension cords running to all sorts of things. The outdoor furniture is tired and needs a refresh; some of it is rotten. While the garden is lovely, there are many plants in the black plastic pots from the nursery, which detracts from the beauty. Our room while tidy, needed a deep cleaning. The ottoman was dingy and dirty, as were the baseboards. The closet doors fell off the runner at the slightest touch. The patio was swept once during our 3 day stay. The water feature in front did not work and apparently hasn't for quite some time. The exterior needs pressure washing.We saw a shuttle on site every day, but were never told anything about it. When I asked the front desk, she didn't know either but offered to find out. I asked again the next day but she still didn't know. It would have been convenient to use due to the heat and parking challenges in town. In summary, this Inn has tons of potential but is missing the mark in some areas. We appreciate rustic, but some of the things are beyond that. The staff and food are not the issue. While it seems the cons outweighed the positives, that isn't really the case. We would likely stay here again but wanted to offer our viewpoint on how to improve."

"We had a great time staying at the Sage Hill Inn and Spa. The property is beautiful, dinner was fantastic, and staff was very friendly. My wife and I were in desperate need of some R&R and this was the perfect place. We will certainly be returning"

"Our stay was Friday Jan 31st through Monday February 3rd. The room was next to a road and construction trucks parked all over the lot. The trucks were loud starting up at 5:45 on Saturday AM. We stated we are light sleepers, didn't want to be next to an elevator, sooo road and trucks were ok in their mind. Duh In the room there was a container sitting next to the coffee pot half eaten. In the bathroom the sink would not open or close, had to get the guy from the front desk to come up with a putty knife and screwdriver, to open up the sink stopper. We had facial tissues on Friday and had none after that, despite leaving the container on the counter showing it was empty. The remote in the room did not work digitally. I had to change the channels by hand there was no digital input of numeric values to change the channels, despite them trying two remotes. The staff at the front desk are cordial but the cleaning staff does the minimal, no ensuring that every room is stocked properly. Would be the last place I would stay again. It is located in a very convenient retail area, with lots of restaurants and stores."
