"Great Hotel. We were welcomed, and it felt immediately like a home-away from home. Rooms are large, beautiful and quiet. The food is super, and we would highly recommend getting dinner included (besides the breakfast), as we made selections and then shared between us, which made it an even better value (it is very well priced). The location is a short stroll to the center of Heiligenblut (see photo). Staff are over the top helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back!"

"I was disappointed by the view from our balcony suite-yes, it faced up a lovely valley but also directly overlooked the main road into the village 😐 and faced AWAY from the spectacular peaks of Großglockner mountain 😕. And my wife could not sit in the low, reclined balcony chairs- they hurt her 68 year-old back. There was also no lobby to speak of, just a check-in desk. Otherwise, no complaints- very helpful staff; nice breakfast in a lovely dining room; complementary parking in a nearby garage; comfortable (though not luxurious) room."

"I stayed one night with my wife at this charming chalet-style hotel run by a Dutch host, Wouter, whose family fell in love with the Großglockner region. The rooms offer a lovely view of the village, the pointed church of Heiligenblut, and the surrounding mountains. The comfort is good, and there’s a sauna to relax in after a day of hiking. The breakfast is warm and satisfying. An ideal stopover for a pleasant break in this beautiful part of Austria."
