The owners and Staff of Hermanus Lodge on the Green is super friendly and helpful, she upgraded us because she had a room open, the breakfast was really great. We just had some bad luck on our 1 night stay, because the wind was blowing like crazy, but would definitely suggest Hermanus Lodge on the Green for a cozy, warm atmosphere.

We stayed in the Whale room for 5 nights. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was amazing. The breakfasts were beautifully presented with a great selection …. fresh fruit, pancakes, cereal, yoghurt and hot options - eggs, bacon, mushrooms etc. my favourite was the mushroom and cheese omelette 😊. Our room was also equipped with a toaster, microwave and basic cutlery and crockery so we could enjoy a light meal without having to order in or go out. The private outdoor courtyard was a good place to relax. Being a swimmer, the large pool was a huge bonus. The location allowed us to stroll to the shops and waterfront if we felt like it.

We visited for 1 night which was the first of our South Africa holiday. we really wished we could have stayed longer tot use all the wonderful facilities. Our room was beautiful, had everything we needed and was very clean. There were lots of lovely little touches that really made it for us. Arrival drink, lovely toiletries, turn service with chocolates, wine etc. The breakfast spread was also beautiful with plenty of choice as well as cooked options to order. The views match this hotel and service. It rained while we were there but that didn't spoil the views. It' also a great location to all the local shops and restaurants.

We loved our stay. Feels almost like home. Just a few minor things like either no or bad dstv signal for our whole stay. Couldn't even watch 10minutes of anything. It was reported but could not be sorted out. Cleaning checks should be done. Place was clean but not done very well. Parking great. Loved that the shops is so close. Almost everything within walking distance. Maybe a welcome pack explaining ins and outs of the place could be placed in the apartment.
