"I stayed here before COVID-19, and although it was a bit pricey, I was completely satisfied with the service, food, and staff. This was my second time. It was difficult to get a reservation and the price was high (I wanted a room with a private dog run for my dog, and it would be more expensive for a solo stay). After this stay, I don't think I'll be staying again. ・Good Points ○ The room was lovely. (It was a reasonable price.) It was a villa with a private dog run, a lovely room with a woody scent, and it was well-cleaned. The welcome board was also lovely. I didn't mention it in advance, but they also accommodated my dog's birthday month. ・Points to improve ○ Check-in response There were many other guests at the front desk when I first checked in, which may have caused my two dogs to become excited. They offer to take photos, but my two dogs were restless with all the noise around them, so I couldn't get a good shot. Even though I said we could take another photo later when things had calmed down, I was given a strange photo where our eyes didn't meet. It still made for a nice keepsake, but I felt it was insincere, even though the staff offered it. ○ Insufficient explanation when shown to the room: Last time, they carefully explained everything, especially how to clean up after doggie messes and other important points to note, but this time there was absolutely nothing. This also included how to lock the private dog run. Even though I'm a repeat guest, this was only my second time, and the last time was before COVID-19, so there were many things I didn't understand. ○ The food was the thing I was most looking forward to, as I remember being impressed by how delicious it was last time. This time, the food was not satisfying. The dishes were large, with only a small amount of food, and the taste was average. The waitresses were some friendly, some brusque...it felt like they were just putting on a show, which was a stark difference from last time. The food didn't seem worth the price. ○ Staff Response: What I found unfriendly was that they didn't even greet me when I entered or exited through the front door. Since we were staying in a separate building, we went in and out several times, but were ignored. When checking out, I thought it would be nice if they could at least take the payment and ask if the dogs had slept or what they thought. ○ The smell of animal feces and urine The thing I disliked the most was the smell of animal feces and urine that drifted in due to the wind direction. At night, even though I wanted to let my dog ​​play in the private dog run, I was bothered by the smell of animal feces and urine, so I didn't let him play. The last time I came here, this smell didn't bother me at all... When I asked the staff at check-out, they told me that there was a cowshed nearby."
