Good for value. The location is very good, it’s at end of the town, convenient to go hiking and the restaurants. It’s quiet at night. The room is very clean. The owner is friendly. He gave us a pot of tea to welcome us when we arrive. Also he provided us the bus schedule information and advices for the time in Ella. It will better if there is a kettle so we can try Ceylon tea we bought.

В номере чисто, есть все необходимое, вплоть до утюга, обогревателя, чайника, сушилки для вещей. Отель без изысков современных гостиниц (в нём нет супер модного ремонта или шикарного интерьера), но в нём чувствуется, что о комфорте гостей думают: в первую очередь потому, что мы заселились на сутки позже бронирования, нас к сожалению, по пути из Нувара-Элии в Эллу застал разгар циклона с проливным дождем, но хозяин лично нас встретил на пороге, попросил свою управляющую по кухне задержаться ради нас и приготовить еду. Хотя во время нашего заселения на завтрак по таймингу давно мы опоздали, и тем не менее, сотрудники вежливо подождали, позволив нам намокшим, замерзшим сначала принять горячий душ и переодеться, а потом молодой работник подал наш завтрак и сразу помог нам донести вещи до номера. В день, когда мы не смогли заселиться вовремя, с нами были на связи и предлагали помощь, чтобы мы смогли благополучно добраться до места назначения, просто арендованные байки оставляли нам мало вариантов для действий, чтобы эту помощь принять, хотя предложение с их стороны было бесценно. Как итог - персонал отеля отнесся к нам с пониманием и заботой. Поэтому Duet Hearts в наших сердцах действительно занял место для теплых и душевных воспоминаний. Завтрак простой, но голодными перед прогулкой по городу не останетесь точно. Удобно расположен для пеших маршрутов по Элле: есть выход и к туристическим улицам, и до девятиарочного моста мы ходили самостоятельно, не используя услуги такси. Из минусов: Подъездная дорога к отелю из ухабов, местами размытая почва, щебень, будьте осторожны в дождливую погоду, но проехать как самому, так и с водителем или пройти пешком - вполне реально. На территории отеля нет лоска в благоустройстве, но любоваться джунглями со второго этажа гостиницы нам этот нюанс не мешал. В этой Duet Hearts нам удалось почувствовать уют, умиротворение - hugge, несмотря на испытания мокрой погодой нон-стопом. Однозначно рекомендуем к посещению.

Very good place to stay with awesome views. The staff took great care off us. Only downside to gaving good views the location is quite far from the city centre. So pick me and uber drivers won't take any rides since the app prices are way cheaper so no choice but to pay tourist fares. Room as an electric fan but AC would have been nice.

The hotel has incredibly beautiful views, the windows overlook the cliff, the jungle, tea plantations. The breakfast is good, hearty. The staff is very responsive, always ready to help. It's cool at night, so ask for extra blankets. The only downside is the pedestrian road to the hotel, as half of it is on concrete, the other half is on the ground, where there are leeches in the wet season, they have time to stick to you in 4 minutes of walking. The hotel can only be reached by tuk-tuk along a narrow road, the staff kindly gave us a ride to the car on the day of our departure. I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

This is the fifth hotel we have settled in Sri Lanka and, frankly, the best. A nice smell of fresh tree, clean, pleasant rooms, high ceilings and good air conditioning. And the main thing is blankets, not all hotels have blankets. We were met very welcoming, treated with coconuts. The only minus in this hotel is the hearing of neighbors. Very thin walls and at night are particularly uncomfortable, especially if neighbors lie late to sleep. The breakfast was very delicious and we were offered to try a delicious traditional breakfast from acute coconut straw with vegetables - very delicious. And here is a good coffee and very delicious ginger tea. I will definitely return to this hotel, it turned out to be a great addition to our visit to Ella.

This place is incredible 😍 I don't understand the ratings because our experience at this wonderful hotel was a special treat in itself. Everything was excellent. The nice young man who greeted us upon check-in was the one who brought our luggage up to our room. He immediately gave us his contact information and was always available. (How were we planning to get around, whether we needed a transfer. He suggested some delicious places from our list and recommended a nice restaurant.) Yes, this is an upsell, but in my opinion, these are very important things in hospitality. Delicious and generous breakfast. The coconut pancakes were sooooo delicious; we've tried them in many other families, but here, they were amazing 😍 Breakfast on the rooftop with a wonderful view. Tea and coffee, not in mugs like everywhere else, but a kettle! It was a pleasure, thank you ☺️ The room was very large! It was spotless! Soap, paper towels, and bottled water were provided. The room even had a fumigator, but we didn't see any insects. No ants or anything else (so far, this is the first place on the island without such neighbors). There's a closet. The room has a balcony and it's not hot at all (you realize this when you're coming from the coast). The location is fantastic. A busy street is a couple of minutes' walk away, but the hotel itself is quiet. This was important to us. There are plenty of places to have a delicious lunch in the area. The 9th Arch Bridge is a 15-minute walk away. It's 15-17 minutes to Little Adam's Peak. It's a truly wonderful place. The squirrels chirp in the mornings. It's a local vibe, and I think I'll miss it. Very centrally located hotel with a great rooftop pool. The staff were extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again.

On a hillside, the road is extremely difficult to find. Opposite is the woods, there are monkeys, squirrels, birds, very ecological, so there must be mosquitoes. No air conditioning, the toilet light changed, and the boss could not be found. There is no front desk, it is an uncle who runs his own business. He wants breakfast and coffee. He is very arrogant, and the uncle is scared to run down the stairs and scare me!

Дружелюбные хозяйки, очень добрые и приветливые, никаких проблем не было. Балкон с прекрасным видом на достопримечательности Еллы. Единственный минус это немного грязная постель и с крыши постоянно падала что то черное и по ночам там что то бегало) но это Шри ланка, проблемы с полом и потолком здесь распространены.
