"What a fantastic place for a get away or destination wedding. We stayed in the main house and loved everything about it. We opted for the breakfast and what treat. Gourmet breakfast anyone? Italian egg tart was really impressive. Beautiful and well maintained site on the lake. They said they could handle a wedding party of 30. Maybe more, ask. You're literally two blocks from town. Granbury offers casual and formal dining, an opera house, and you have to get a scoop of Pecan Whiskey ice cream. Just go and have fun."

"I booked the Iron Horse Inn as a getaway for our 21st Anniversary - and we could not have been more pleased. We were in the separate cottage which was very private, with a working wood-burning fireplace and other perfect amenities. Located so near the town square with a wonderful walking park at hand. Fantastic hostess, wonderful food, great recommendations...I really do not know how they could have made it more perfect. We will go back. "

"The Hotel is a little overpriced for the condition of the facility. The room was clean and smelled fresh but the carpet and furniture had a lot of stains. The bathroom could use some drywall repair and the tub had unsightly rust stains around the faucet area. The free breakfast was not very appetizing but there is a Sonic within site of the hotel. On a positive note, the desk clerk was very nice and JJ her "assistant" was very pleasant."
