"We stayed here 1 night for a party in the center, which is just a 5 minute walk away. The host was very welcoming and provided excellent service. Even my bicycle was taken care of by putting it in a safe place. Breakfast was good and plenty. Another plus is the free parking spots just 50 meters from the hotel. Beds are comfortable, shower good enough. Room 14 is a bit small though, but for a one night stay it shouldn't bother you. However, for longer stays it might become an issue."

"It's just that the room is a bit small, and it's a bit cramped for two people in the attic. The hotel is in a good location, right in the town of Hoorn. The town has a market on weekends, right in front of the hotel. The breakfast provided by the hotel proprietress is amazing. She used to be a chef and sings very well. She is an absolute live show."

"I stayed here for one night and found it very convenient for the station, shops, bars, restaurants and the markemeer. It was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. It lashed with raid during the day and we had to hide inside for a while. The receptionist made us coffee and was happy to let us sit out the storm."
