"We stayed here 1 night for a party in the center, which is just a 5 minute walk away. The host was very welcoming and provided excellent service. Even my bicycle was taken care of by putting it in a safe place. Breakfast was good and plenty. Another plus is the free parking spots just 50 meters from the hotel. Beds are comfortable, shower good enough. Room 14 is a bit small though, but for a one night stay it shouldn't bother you. However, for longer stays it might become an issue."

"It's just that the room is a bit small, and it's a bit cramped for two people in the attic. The hotel is in a good location, right in the town of Hoorn. The town has a market on weekends, right in front of the hotel. The breakfast provided by the hotel proprietress is amazing. She used to be a chef and sings very well. She is an absolute live show."

"Stayed here for Ironman comp for 5 days. We stayed in a superior room on the 2nd floor 205 over looking side alley. We had aircon, which was a godsend as the weather was very hot, unsure if all rooms had aircon. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable but no cuddling, or you will fall between mattresses lol, partner was happy with that. I found our room to be very quite, didn't hear other guests or restaurant below and minimal outside noise. Breakfast was continental, which, to be honest, I'm glad, no pigging out on cooked breakfast you don't usually have at home. The hotel was in an easy walkable distance for Ironman swim start/bike drop and less than 10 mins from expo tents and finish line. Lots of nice eateries within walking distance and less than 10 min walk to train station. I would happily stay here again."
