Laguna House ★★★
"Hospitality of the owner is so nice. Warm and cozy place to stay in Huaraz"
San Sebastian Hotel Boutique ★★★
"Huaraz was freezing! After a day of playing, there was no hot water, and finding an outlet was like playing hide-and-seek (forget about the one by the bed). Breakfast was very ordinary. In conclusion: it looks nice but isn't practical; at this price, it's really not worth it."
Departamentos Bellavista Deluxe Huaraz ★★★
Hotel Galaxia ★★★
Rajutuna Inn ★★★
"The hotel is very well located, close to the main square, within walking distance of the bus terminal and the plaza. The rooms are comfortable, have wooden floors that keep the room warm, and most importantly, we had hot water at all times."
Hotel Morales ★★★
"My friend and I stayed at Hotel Morales during our Peru trip, and honestly, it became my favorite part of the whole experience, which surprised me because we were mainly there for the mountains, not the hotel. The location is solid. It's a short walk from downtown Huaraz, close enough that you can grab food or wander around easily, but far enough that you're not dealing with street noise all night. After hiking all day, that peace and quiet made a huge difference. Our room was clean, spacious, and had views of the mountains, which sounds cliché until you're actually sitting there with your morning coffee watching them. Here's what really stood out though: Hisao, the owner. He wasn't just there checking us in, he actually gave us helpful suggestions for what to do, where to eat, which trails were better for our fitness level. When we needed our clothes washed between treks, the staff turned them around fast. The breakfast was legit good, not the typical sad hotel breakfast situation. Fresh fruit, eggs, actual Peruvian food that made sense for what we were about to do. My friend and I appreciated that it felt like staying with someone who genuinely wanted us to have a good time rather than just passing through. There's something about that kind of hospitality that makes a difference, especially when you're traveling. Would definitely come back if we make it back to Huaraz!"
Tupac Huaraz ★★
"The hostel is very comfortable, the rooms are super clean and it has one of the best views of Huaraz! The staff is attentive and always ready to help you and answer questions. We can use the equipped kitchen to cook and save a lot of money during the trip."
Hotel El Patio de Monterrey ★★★
"Our family of nine stayed at El Patio from Thursday through Sunday, returning after approximately 24 years. We were so happy to be back, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding. We especially appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of Daniel, Rosana, and Liz, who always went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from breakfast to dinner. We loved spending our evenings by the fireplace while watching the World Cup matches. The fresh mountain air, the peaceful atmosphere, and the exceptional cleanliness made our stay even more special. We are already looking forward to returning. Thank you for making our family reunion so memorable!"
Hotel Santa Cruz ★★★
"The staff is personable and willing to do what they can to help with your reasonable needs, They offer a local taxi service, breakfast is simple but really good. If you are a dog lover “Becky” the adopted street dog is the mascot of the place ❤️ Thank you Willie , Edwardo , David and the entire staff we will miss your kindness !"

Grand Cesars Hotel
"The hotel is located near the plaza. Has an elevator. Smaller clean restaurant - breakfast was included. Lunch was very inexpensive and not bad at all. The biggest issue I experienced was dogs barking in the middle of the night. Sightseeing tours are arranged by this hotel - usually in smaller vans. (depending on the operator)"
Golden Killa
"The Walk: A peaceful 15-20 minute stroll away from the noisy, bustling traffic of the Plaza de Armas.🥾 The Setting: Nestled right on the mountain's edge in a serene neighborhood—the absolute best way to decompress after an intense day of hiking to Laguna 69 or Pastoruri Glacier.🍳 The Service: Renowned for their incredibly early breakfast hours tailored for trekkers, warm home-style dinners, and modern smart TVs to stream your favorite shows. Pilar and the team keep the Golden Killa immaculate. ❤️"
Hotel Colomba
"This was a charming, unique place to stay in Huaraz and we were delighted we chose it. The hotel manager, in particular, was incredibly hospitable and helpful. The location is slightly away from the center of town (and the entrance a bit hard to find at first) but walkable, and we came to appreciate the quiet. I traveled with two young boys and our family room (with 5 beds and two toilets) was a little quirky (like the whole hotel) but comfortable and very spacious. My boys loved seeing the resident cat in the courtyard. The breakfast was great too. I would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend the hotel. "
