"This is a real nice resort becides Waki river which is away from the hullabaloo of main Bhandardara town as well as very near to it. The property is well maintained and you have option of AC and Non-AC rooms. Restaurant is located at the beginning of the property and at times it seems far away. The Waki river is in trickles during summers, however, people have created check-dams to store the water in the river bed, which is a nice view in itself. Food is tasty and staff is very friendly. Even being a vegetarian resort, on special request, they made arrangements with a makeshift wood-fire chulha and arranged for condiments and utensils so that we can cook our non-veg items ourselves (and we enjoyed doing it a lot!). The only thing that I would want to be improved is removing fixed timings for tea/snacks/meals (or maybe it was imposed for us because we had a big group having the entire resort to ourselves)."

"Hello Readers, I write with the benefit of hindsight. Don't go in if you are expecting hospitality (relative to the price point), common sense or professionalism. This is not to cast aspersion on the service staff. The problem is rampant in the management, if there is any. Don't pop the eyeballs yet, the chaps were, it seems, aching and itching for a review written in the red. Well, here it is then. To be fair, the villas are decent for the uncouth, rouge teenagers and the tipsy grey hairs. Breakfast, Lunch, Tea and Dinner is served (albeit bland and okayish) so that takes care of the calorie intake while one could knock a few drinks down the throat in between. However, a family may find the place unforgiving (ours was such case) as much as the place is forgettable. The Villas are basic, even the supposedly premium ones. Furniture is saggy. No wifi. Being up in hills network connection can be poor to none at all. We were put up in a Villa next to what we found out to be a 'private villa'. The owners of the next door villa had construction going in full swing. How utterly stupid or rather careless, knowing that your guests will be disturbed! It took several calls to stop the workmen next door. They did move us to a different Villa though, to give you balanced POV. But, where is the relaxation that one seeks from a retreat? Not a good start. Once that happened we had moved on to think that we will try and have a nice time. But the management had another nasty surprise for us in store. After lunch on the 2nd day, to our shock we saw that the only entry and exit road to the place was laden with hot tar and road rollers and dumpers were crawling up and down the road, effectively cutting us off the main road! There was no indication of a such a thing were to take place from the resort management. When enquired, we were told that this was a government work and they had no control. Sure. But the road that was being worked upon is the approach road to the resort and ends there. The resort must have known this all this while and did not think of informing the guests before hand or put up a signage that work would be undertaken so that the guests could plan the day accordingly, including getting their cars across the road in time, perhaps? I wonder what would have happened if someone had a flight to catch etc. Could the management not do anything differently than being indifferent all this while? They proudly advertise that their resort is so and so kms away from tourist attractions. What use are these when the guests can't even get their cars out of the resort! And to rub salt to the wounds, they called us up at the room to clear the balance payment! They had no apologies to offer, just wanted the money. Confinement is not a synonym for retreat. With the evening casting itself, there was nothing to be done but wait for the tar to cool down. However, we were simmering. The reception only added to the misrey by giving incorrect details of when "
