"A very good surprise to end our South Africa tour. Perfectly located 15km away from Durban airport, Capital Zimbali is a huge, modern and beautiful hotel facing the Indian ocean, with lush garden and massive pools. Bedrooms are very spacious and be very comfortable. We were upgraded to a room facing the ocean with balcony. Good choice of restaurant options though both were very smoky due to poor ventilation system. Very helpful and efficient staff."

"So it rained throughout our stay which was disappointing my family looked forward to the rock pool and outdoor activities.Our unit had stunning views of the wildlife & dam.Inside our unit by the dining section they need to improve the lighting my hubby did a setup for my birthday but we couldn't take out nice pictures due to poor lighting.The tv also needs a upgrade.And a aircon installed in the lounge for those chilli nights the a/c in the passage serves that part of the unit only.Also it's not a obligation by the lodge to offer a complementary gesture but my suggestion if a guest is celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary throwing a complementary gesture or doing something special for the guest/guests will leave a lasting impression on him/her that will in return will repeat business.Going the extra mile always as a positive effect.Our game drive with Victor was amazing he is truly well versed in his field & accommodating.He offered us a blanket if we felt cold during the drive which was special.Victor's professionalism & knowledge is admirable.The food & presentation was excellent! Our experience was good but due to the rainy conditions we as a family never maximized on our experience & activities offered."

"Myself and my dad were on a budget so were looking for cheep accoms but still expected basic amenities and were unfortunately disappointed. The room is a 3x4 rectangle with litterally just beds and bedside table. There is no aircon or fan. Theres no kitchen noc but to there credit theres a comunal kitchen which is nice. The bathroom looks like it was added on later. It is 1x3m with a toilet sink and shower but no door or curtain. There is no light or water pressure so the shower basically doesnt work. They have a roster that wakes you up at 5 every morning and lastly you need a 4x4 to get to the accoms as our car took a beating on that road. We werent looking for much but what we did pay this was one of the worst value for money accoms we have had."
