"DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager is rude, disrespectful towards women and I have never felt more unsafe or unwelcomed before and I am experienced traveller. To add to this, there is mold in the showers and the balcony is disgustingly dirty. There is also no toiletries, bathrobe, safe, and basically none of the things that are promised to be provided are not. I can’t stress enough, DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"Came for yoga & hiking at end of November. Staff were kind & responsive, lit fires to keep us cosy though the sun shone non stop; loved lazing on the pretty patios. Rooms varied but ours was big & warm. Hotel has a pool, hammam & yoga room with stunning views, star gazing & hiking through the valley where we enjoyed perfect autumn colours throughout - lovely trip!"

"We loved Dar Adra hotel in Imlil which was our last night of a trek with Aztat Treks. The food was delicious served on the terrace or in the big dining room before a roaring fire. Hamza and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, I felt so relaxed and at home. Stunning views of Mount Toubkal covered in snow. I'll take with me memories of lying on a lounger at night, blanket, gazing at the bright stars."

"Be careful booking this place through a third party. My father booked a room here through ***********. The payment never confirmed and no confirmation email arrived, so we assumed it failed and booked again through another site under my name. Both bookings turned out to be live. We only found out at the reception desk. We raised it immediately. The man at the desk, Mohammed, told us he would contact the company. We went back to him five times over the course of the evening. Every time we got the same answer and no result. No follow up, no explanation, and a dismissive attitude that made it clear the problem was ours, not his. After a full day of travelling that is the last thing you want to deal with. The next morning the office did reply by email, and that response was polite and honest. They explained the booking had come in through a third party agent, that the money had not reached them, and that they could not refund it themselves. Fair enough. But that information could have been given to us at the desk on the first evening instead of the fifth visit. So two warnings. Book direct if you can, because third party bookings for this property go through an agent and if anything goes wrong nobody at the hotel can fix it. And do not count on the reception desk to help you if something does go wrong."

"Great welcome in the Atlas Mountains. Fantastic views in this beautiful riad. Mustapha and his team were very generous hosts and had a great philosophy on life. Our room was very spacious and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Food was delicious and plentiful. They organised a guide to take us walking in the mountains. Extremely peaceful walking with Omar. Hardly saw another person on the walk except for a couple of goat herders. Highly recommended."

The team there are amazing, nothing is too much trouble & the food is wonderful. They were able to cater for my gluten free/veggie request without any problems. "This hotel is located right beside the waterfall & right in town, but on the quieter side. There are many stairs to access the hotel and the upstairs rooms. Our room was fantastic. It was on the second floor with an amazing balcony & a great view. It was cozily decorated & very comfortable. Great access to hiking. In the summer the pool must be a great treat. It looked beautiful. Delicious tagine dinner in the hotel our first night. The staff were very gracious and helpful."

"The road is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main street in Imlil, up past a few shops and then a steep climb up steps to the riad. Hamad and Fatima were warm and welcoming to the group and made to feel relaxed straight away. I shared to lower side room with views out towards Imlil, en suite and windows to one side and a small balcony on the other. En suite is a wet room shower. Food was very nice, plentiful and well presented. The tagine was amazing and local honey at breakfast. Nothing was too much and the rooms were clean and bed was perfect. Definitely the place to stay before venturing up to Mount Toukbal."
