"When checking in, there was a "Please Call" sign on the counter. It was very inconvenient for foreigners to make a phone call, but fortunately the receptionist came out of the small room after a while. The lake view in the room was pretty good, but the TV was a bit small. The hot spring pool only opens indoor pool, and it is not big, which is a bit disappointing. The public facilities include KTV and billiard room, which are pretty good. There are plenty of dishes and cooking tables. It is very convenient to bring your own food or fruit!"

"It's been a while since I stayed here. There were a few disappointing aspects of the new management. I stayed for two nights, and on the morning of my second night, I told them, "I'll just need to change my towels and yukata. I'll be leaving around noon," and they brought my yukata and towels right away. Surely they'd come while I was out? (Their concept is to keep staff out of the way as much as possible.) No one came out when I parked my car in the driveway (this used to be the case; they'd come right out and help me unload my luggage). The quality of the breakfast has declined. Amenities and hair dryers are now more upscale. I was shocked to see the waitress coughing and carrying food with her nose sticking out of her mask. It was a room with a bed, but since there were three of us, we only had one futon. It was right next to the bed. While it was definitely on the pillow side, having the futon under the bed felt like sleeping under someone else, which made it uncomfortable. I understand the concept is to minimize the number of people in the room and lay out futons from the start, but if they're going to put a bed in, wouldn't it be better to lay futons in the room next to where they eat? Or, if there are three of us, everyone should sleep on a futon. I guess it's for the elderly, but the dining table height remains the same as before, only the chairs have been raised. My family member (a large man) has thick legs, so he can't get his thighs all the way under the table, so he has to eat with his body quite far away from the table. They no longer have the extra-large yukatas they used to have. They only go up to LL size. We asked for a larger size because he's a large man, so they said, "We'll have the old yukatas." They used to have them before the management changed, so they brought that for us. They have bathrobes, but there's no place to hang them. They used to have two yukatas, one for sleeping and one for regular use, but now they only have one. They've made the amenities and yukatas more stylish, but apparently the hospitality has declined just because they made them more stylish. The baths are great, but it's a disappointing inn. I used to go there two or three times a year, but it's a real shame."

If I had to say something, it would be that there were two rice cookers, but the times were off for both of them, so I didn't realize it and when I scheduled them to cook in the morning, they didn't cook, which was a bit frustrating, but I was able to fix it and it was fine after that. There was a long table, so we were able to play board games and other things together in the evening, which was a really fulfilling experience! Thank you very much! I'd like to use it again!"

"As with the last time, I stayed in the annex with its own bath. There are nice baths on site, such as the open-air cypress bath and the Dead Sea bath, but the bath in the room is enough. The food menu was almost the same as last time, so I was not as impressed, but the Italian coat for dinner and the original hamburger for breakfast were still like a museum. On the way out, I was given tea and gum to help me stay awake. This is a pension full of hospitality, and I will definitely go again."

"I went there over the New Year's holiday. As I wrote before, since the management changed, it's a bit "meh," but as someone who doesn't like large public baths, a place with a large open-air bath is very important to me. I'll still go even if I have some complaints. Nakai's service was still lacking (for the price, that is). I wasn't happy with the bed last time, so I stayed in a futon room. The futon has been there since the previous management, but it's not the most comfortable (thin). But it's hard to beat that bath. So I'll go again. Also, there was a microwave in the room, which wasn't there when I went last time. Since you can't eat lunch inside the hotel, I wonder if it's so you can heat up food you bring with you?"

"This was my first time staying here. There's free parking, which is convenient. The facilities are a little dated. I stayed in a Japanese-style twin room. The bed was made of wood. I thought it might creak when I lay down, but it was surprisingly sturdy. I could feel the warmth of the natural wood and slept soundly. The hot spring in the large public bath has a pH of 9.1 and is a milky white color with a light green tint. It has a very slimy texture. I alternated between bathing in the indoor and outdoor baths, fully enjoying the hot spring atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was lacking in quality. Still, the clam miso soup and koshihikari rice were delicious."
