"Fearing the weather, we arrived much before the 3pm check-in time. No matter. Ashley who covered the office, summoned housekeeper Katie. Between them they completed finishing touches on our room while we waited a short time in our warm truck. The people here are very service oriented and accommodating. Room #11 (the pet friendly room) has been revamped since we last stayed here. New flooring, new mini split heating and cooling system, plenty of options for charging devices, and a nice little nightlight in the bathroom. These people clean so well they dare to decorate in light, bright colors. Easy to hide dirt in dark rooms at other places we have stayed. Clean, quiet room. Friendly, accommodating hosts. This will be our choice the next time we pass through the area."
