"I took a bus from Dubai to Al Ain (about 1,000 yen), then took a taxi to Telal Resort Al Ain. A taxi cost about 110 AED (about 4,500 yen?). It costs about the same to get to other tourist spots in Al Ain. The hotel feels like it's standing alone on the outskirts.
The pool was the best thing about it, and beyond it was a one-of-a-kind view of the vast desert. You could get a panoramic view of the desert from your room, and if you left your room and walked a little, you could play in the desert to your heart's content.
Lying down and running in the desert was a great experience.
However, the location is still inconvenient, so unless there is a tourist spot you absolutely want to visit in Al Ain, I think it's better to give up on going to the tourist spots and just enjoy this desert resort."
