"On the way back to Beijing from a self-driving tour, I found a five-star hotel to rest for one night. The price was not expensive. I booked an elegant twin room, and asked the front desk to upgrade it to a deluxe twin room for free. There was also a welcome fruit plate and a rich breakfast. The hotel is very large, with a lake view when you go out, and the location is slightly off. The proactive service awareness is still a bit poor. The hotel did not provide children with slippers and toothbrushes, which is not like a five-star standard. When I left the hotel, I complained to the front desk, but the front desk said that I had to ask the floor attendant for them. There is no children's playground, only a small outdoor slide and swing. "I left my wristband in the room when I checked out. Thank you to the front desk staff for contacting me and the housekeeper who cleaned room 0731 on the morning of July 28th (sorry I couldn't find her name) for returning it.
Regarding the hotel's amenities, it was a shame there wasn't a refrigerator in the room and the TV couldn't project screens. However, around 5:00 PM on the 27th, the gentleman at the front desk kindly helped by temporarily storing food in the restaurant, which solved the problem.
I hope the front desk and housekeeping manager will see this and give you a compliment, ideally according to company policy. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
