"Probably the best hotel in Manigange although located a bit out of the city center. The room was clean and confortable with a big window with a nice view, even if some of the furniture was starting to show some signs of ageing. But mostly it was a good room. The best thing about this hotel was the service. The two girls working at the reception were super helpful, using the translating app to communicate with us and help us find transport to Dege."

"I accidentally found a hotel halfway up 317 with no negative reviews and high ratings. I checked that there is a Gesar Culture and Art Research Base behind the hotel. Decided to book a hotel and check it out. I was amazed when I arrived at the hotel. Very comfortable city hotel feel. The service staff are proactive, enthusiastic, cultured and polite. The room is very clean and hygienic, the floor heating is comfortable, and there are only six bottles of mineral water in the room, which is very atmospheric. The restaurant is completely vegetarian. Since I didn't want to eat dinner, I went to the restaurant and ordered two vegetarian meat dishes: black pepper beef and twice-cooked pork. too delicious. It tastes almost the same as the vegetarian food I had in Wutai Mountain. There were publications from the Gesar Research Base in the room, and I spent several hours reading them carefully. The next day I went to visit the research base on the mountain and spent another hour walking around the mountain. Lingering.
