"Haiyang is truly an underestimated small city; it's uncrowded, peaceful, and super convenient to get around with shared electric scooters available right outside. The hotel is located right by the sea and has its own outdoor pool. The room had a large bathtub, which my child loved. Zheng Xiaoxun at the front desk provided exceptional service; she was very enthusiastic, helped us with our luggage upon arrival, and even assisted in pushing two beds together. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. Overall, the people here feel very genuine. The hotel itself generally feels good, though it's quite old, and the carpets definitely need a deep clean or replacement. The beaches in Haiyang are mostly deserted; sometimes you can even have an entire stretch of sand all to yourself, making for great photos."

Located in a sparsely populated tourist area, it's surrounded by unfinished buildings, so the environment isn't particularly appealing. The breakfast, though modest, cost 40 yuan per person. Since there aren't many options nearby, I recommend buying it. The water pressure was weak, and the lobby had a noticeable decorating smell. For a new hotel, the linens were reasonably clean. There was a reason the room came with eight bottles of mineral water: the tap water felt strange and slippery. Given the numerous unfinished buildings surrounding the hotel, the municipal water pipes are likely less frequently used, so I seriously suspect the water quality is compromised. I also checked out other nearby hotels while walking, and they were all quite run-down. The All Seasons Hotel was the best option nearby."
