XiYou Book Courtyard | A Timeless Retreat in a Traditional Guanzhong Courtyard
Tucked away in the heart of Shaanxi’s Guanzhong region, XiYou Book Courtyard is a beautifully preserved five-entry courtyard that captures the essence of traditional Chinese architecture. With its gray brick walls, intricately carved wooden doors, and classic quadrangle layout, this space blends history with modern comfort. More than just a guesthouse, it is also a bookstore, tea house, and art gallery—offering travelers a truly immersive cultural retreat.
Here, you don’t just stay—you become part of a story. Sleep surrounded by books, wake up to the soft glow of morning light filtering through wooden windows, and start your day with a cup of fragrant tea. In the courtyard, a cat stretches lazily as the seasons shift outside your window, and time seems to slow down. Someone might be quietly turning the pages of an old book, while another enjoys a moment of reflection with a friend.
Discover the authentic Guanzhong lifestyle: stroll through the bustling Yuanjia Village food street to sample local delicacies, or simply lose yourself in the serenity of books and tea. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape or a place to reconnect with culture and history, XiYou Book Courtyard is your home away from home.
