"After returning from Shangli Ancient Town, we checked into Nanqi Inn. It was already evening when we arrived, and the owner and all the staff came out to greet us, helping with our luggage and showing us around the courtyard. They brewed tea and brought fruit platters, and when they noticed we wanted some wine, they even offered us melon seeds and peanuts – a very warm and welcoming gesture.
The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, and all the facilities were smart and electric. The furniture was made of Phoebe zhennan wood, and there were even wood carvings in the bedroom. We were woken up early by birdsong, and that's when we saw the entire courtyard – antique, elegant, and grand. We drank tea, chatted, and simply relaxed, feeding the fish, watching the turtles bask in the sun, and listening to the owner tell stories of the rich history and artistic significance of Phoebe zhennan wood – it was truly delightful.
Right next to the accommodation was the Phoebe zhennan Wood Museum. We were speechless with awe at the ancient root carvings; we couldn't tell if we were staying there or visiting an exhibition. We felt our minds and souls were cleansed, relaxed, and thoroughly enjoying ourselves.
I envy the people of Lushan. The mountains and rivers nurture them, the people are simple and honest, and the artistic atmosphere makes everything feel like a dream. I want to bring my family here to experience this place again!"
