"Safety and cleanliness are key factors in any stay. This spring, when I was still in Qiandongnan, a friend came to my hometown on business for me, and I booked him into an Intercity Hotel. He booked this hotel because, after searching all the hotels in Panjin, only the Intercity Hotel had a piano in its lobby. However, being highly musical and somewhat unsociable, he didn't mention the piano to me. Instead, he kept praising the Intercity Hotel staff. He mentioned a very welcoming girl in the hotel lobby. When he asked about the bus schedule from Panjin to Shenyang Taoxian Airport, she explained it in such detail that he felt ”very embarrassed.” I thought, appearances reflect the heart, so the girl must be very beautiful, right? When I visited Intercity Hotel, I tried to find her, and found that every staff member was beautiful, enthusiastic, and professional. In fact, what impressed me most, given that my living space is limited to the bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room, and my obsessive-compulsive nature, was the laundry room. When I used the self-service laundry, I had to wipe down the inside and outside of the machine, as well as every surface I could reach. Such clean washing machines are truly rare in mainland hotels—after wiping them with alcohol wipes, there's not a speck of dirt visible to the naked eye. I bumped into a lovely girl in the lobby who mentioned this, and she explained that they're incredibly particular about hygiene. This obsession with cleanliness also made me feel incredibly safe. Interestingly, the laundry room has a selection of books, including family, leisure, and travel books that fit the hotel's business travel style, as well as German travel books that align with the hotel's brand. In the laundry room, I even saw Vogue, Red Show, and Harper's Bazaar. Wouldn't it be more perfect if I could also see Elle?"
