After staying at InterContinental, Club Med rooms actually look much better to me now. If you love the water park, I recommend choosing Building 2. It's right downstairs, and odd-numbered rooms in Building 2 offer a direct view of where they set off fireworks (though they didn't have any this time 😭 my only regret).
