"As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the front desk came out to help with our luggage. We like photography and they upgraded our room so that we could watch the sunrise in the room in the morning."

"Excellent facilities, luxurious and clean room with great view of the rice terraces from balcony. Air con was powerful enough to keep room cool in day time and warm and snug at night. All the staff were generous, kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Barbecue meat dinner outside in camp chairs was delicious and fun. Bonfire at night in the front courtyard. The camp looks dreamy at night time with lights on, peaceful with only sound you can hear is water trickling on the rice terraces and frogs in them croaking. Entrance to Jiuqu Yunhuan rice terrace scenic area is less than 5mins walk. Worth getting up early to see the sun rise as the terraces look the best in the morning as the light simmers off the water (in Spring). Thanks to the boss who helped us with our luggage and gave a lift to the cable car station on our way down. Would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel is amazing, beautifully decorated, very well situated right next the cableway entrance, situated in a very lovely village, the view from our room was lovely and peaceful. The hotel is super confortable and very clean. But above all, what made our stay unforgettable was the very warm welcoming of the owners that made us feel like home. They were taking care of us like parents would do, helping us with many things, they were absolutely lovely. Will never forget our stay there, thanks to them for making our stay there unforgettable."

"The room was very new, the bed was very comfortable, and it was very clean, with no formaldehyde or other decorating smells. The hostess was very welcoming. At 9 PM, she heard we were planning to watch the sunrise the next day and quickly arranged a taxi for us. She even came out to pick us up at around 10 PM. She also provided snacks to fill our mornings, and after exploring the area, she returned to the B&B in the afternoon to pick up our luggage. She also left us some food. It was a wonderful experience and I'd love to bring my family back again."

I booked a big bed room in Yunlan, and contacted the B&B in advance to reserve a room with a good location and balcony during the off-season. As a result, when I arrived, I saw that the whole villa No. 8 was reserved for me (there is only one big bed in Building 8), which saved me the embarrassment of sharing a villa with others. The privacy is so good. Thank you for the inn. The room facilities are very good, and there is even a capsule coffee machine😄. The balcony view is great, and the breakfast is extremely rich. I haven't eaten it for two days [snickering]. The front desk girl is enthusiastic and contacted me on WeChat the day before check-in to remind relevant precautions. "I booked this home stay the night before just looking for somewhere to stay in the area. To say it was nice is an understatement, the service and hospitality I received here was nothing short of a home love, I wished I didn’t have to leave. The owner was very generous and kind and the room was even better than the pictures. They had an intern who went beyond to make me comfortable, she took me to restaurants and took photos of me in the town and constantly on hand if I needed anything. Could not recommend enough!!"

"The guesthouse's location is decent, situated halfway up the mountain. It's relatively convenient if you're driving, but don't consider it if you don't have a car, as it's a few kilometers from the scenic area. The scenery is quite nice, and the guesthouse owner is very friendly, but frankly, it's not worth making a special trip during holidays. The guesthouse prices are outrageous; a place that would normally cost 200 yuan can jump to three figures during holidays. The key issue is that the scenic area itself is just average, with nothing much to see, and I feel there's some misleading advertising online. Furthermore, the rooms have very poor soundproofing, and basic amenities like air conditioning and showers are inadequate. In short, if you live nearby, it's okay to drive there on weekends to enjoy the mountain air, but it's not worth making a special trip."
