"The inn is near a big green tree, and there is a small green tree at the door. Because of its high location, the scenery is also very beautiful. The early morning sun shines into the restaurant. I take photos facing the sun at a table facing the road. The light and scenery are really great. The room is decorated in a warm and artistic style. The bathroom is designed to be separated into three parts. The facilities in the room are complete, and the bedding and bathroom are particularly clean, making people feel comfortable, at ease and warm. Especially their Nuodeng raw ham, which has a strong aroma of cured meat and just the right amount of saltiness, leaving you with an endless aftertaste. The Western breakfast is also very distinctive, with crispy toast and a unique flavor when paired with Nuodeng ham. Black coffee is blended with coconut water, giving it a unique aroma and taste. They also have a group of very friendly and cute furry children at home, including a pastoral dog named Xiaohua, who has shiny and soft fur; and three very clingy cats, Dabai, Erbai and Lili. In short, after staying in so many B&Bs, this is my favorite and the most comfortable one!"

"It's rare to see a guesthouse so meticulously designed. All the stair treads are rounded to blunt angles; the kettle is enamel; the slippers are thick and breathable; the toothbrushes have soft, thick bristles; there's a wooden massage comb with an air cushion; thick Xinjiang long-staple cotton towels are sterilized and sealed; the smart toilet and bathroom have temperature and ventilation control systems—every detail reveals the owner's thoughtful consideration for comfortable living. Even the pillowcases, duvet covers, and curtains are all in the same color scheme, made of pure cotton and linen. Lying on the bed, I felt completely enveloped, yet comfortably supported—a solid softness. I noticed the thick, double-layered mattress; its resilience was far more reassuring than a spring mattress… Looking out the window, I saw mountains, with scattered yellow earthen houses, and the faint sound of horse bells in the distance. The fresh air made me relax and take a deep breath. Closing my eyes, I recalled the starry sky I saw from the second-floor terrace; I was sure I'd sleep well tonight. (The owner was really attentive. When we asked about the recommended restaurants, he meticulously introduced us to various eateries, specialties, and pubs. He even prepared playing cards for us if we wanted to play board games. The breakfast was also delicious, nutritionally balanced, and the fruit was very fresh.)"

"We stayed for two nights as a family of three and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nuodeng. We’ll definitely be back! The Guesthouse The guesthouse is run by a lovely local Bai family—everyone pitches in, and all were warm and welcoming. The young lady managing the place was a fantastic host, always attentive and happy to accommodate our needs. Grandma was just as friendly! Our three-year-old had a great time playing with their toddler, some neighbourhood kids, and other guests in the spacious twin courtyards. The whole property is tastefully decorated—traditional charm with a modern twist. The Rooms We stayed in one of the older family rooms, set slightly apart in a quieter courtyard. It was clean and peaceful. The newer rooms near the main courtyard are brighter and more contemporary—some even offer sweeping views down the mountainside. The Food The on-site restaurant is excellent and arguably the best value in Nuodeng. Breakfast noodles were delicious, and many dishes featured Nuodeng’s signature cured ham. The cooks were happy to adapt dishes to suit different tastes—less salt for our child, vegetarian options, and more. Surprisingly good espresso, too, at very reasonable prices. Nuodeng Village Perfect for travellers who enjoy slow, exploratory travel. There aren’t many must-see landmarks, but there’s a short scenic hike to an old temple, meandering stone stairways, village animals (great for kids), and a handful of cafés and restaurants. Adventurous hikers can set off on local trails and see where they lead! 我们一家三口在诺邓住了两晚，整体体验非常棒，下次一定还会再来！ 民宿体验 这是一家由当地白族家庭经营的民宿，全家人都特别热情、亲切，脸上总是带着笑容。民宿日常由一位小姐姐打理得井井有条，招呼也特别周到；奶奶也特别和蔼，十分有人情味。我们三岁的孩子在两个超大的院子里玩得特别开心，和他们家的小朋友、邻居家的孩子，还有其他住客都打成一片。整个民宿布置得很用心，既保留了白族传统的味道，又融入了现代元素，既有格调又很舒适。 房间环境 我们住的是一间家庭房，位于另一个相对独立的小院子里，环境安静、私密性好。房间非常干净，住着安心。主院那边是新建的房间，风格更现代，采光也更好，有几间还能俯瞰山景。 餐饮体验 民宿里的餐厅很值得推荐，性价比在诺邓算是非常高的。早餐的热铒丝特别香，正餐里很多菜都用了当地特色火腿，风味十足。厨房的阿姨们和小伙子都很热情，也非常愿意根据客人的需求调整口味——我们家小朋友吃得比较清淡，他们也都很细心照顾，素食也完全没问题。这里还提供意式咖啡，品质不错，价格也实在。 关于诺邓村 这个古村落特别适合喜欢慢节奏旅行的朋友。这里没有太多网红打卡点，但这正是我们喜欢的那种质朴和宁静。可以轻徒步走到山上的一座老庙，也可以在村里沿着蜿蜒的石阶闲逛，看看路边的鸡鸭牛羊——对亲子旅行来说是个加分项。村里还有几家气氛不错的小咖啡馆和餐厅。如果你热爱探索，不妨试着沿着村外的山路随走随看，说不定会有意外的发现。"

"It’s a great location, situated in the CBD of the ancient town, making it convenient to get anywhere on foot. The bedding, décor, and service were all extremely satisfactory. Initially booked a standard view room, but upon arrival, the room type was upgraded. Thank you so much! There was nothing to complain about during this trip. We would be willing to come back to Nodeng next year just for this place. Before leaving, we had to ask the landlady to send out some packages, and it was handled swiftly. The recommended food was also delicious. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfasts varied each day, showing great attention to detail. Every day, we chatted with the owners, explored the town, indulged in local cuisine, and enjoyed the scenery – it was a wonderful experience."

"The B&B is located halfway up the mountain in Nuodeng, and the view from the room window is absolutely stunning. The B&B also has a garden restaurant, and even though it's winter, the garden is still in full bloom. It's hard to imagine how beautiful it would be in spring and summer! The B&B's housekeeper was incredibly helpful. Seeing I was traveling alone, she not only helped me with dinner but also took me to Yunlong's pig-killing rice restaurant. I can't express my gratitude enough."

"Hardware is definitely the best in Nuodeng. The owner's careful design can be seen in every detail of the room. It is comfortable to sleep and safe to use. Even the bathroom supplies are Penhaligon's, with a fresh fragrance. The decorative paintings on the wall are specially drawn by the owner instead of the same old prints. You will never be disappointed if you come to Nuodeng to live in Suishan. By the way, their dishes are also delicious. The local chicken mushrooms are very fragrant, and the ham... even a ten-year-old child knows that it is delicious and can't stop eating... When I left, I bought more than three pounds of ham, and a small piece was cut into four bags of thin slices to take to Dali to make snacks with friends. I finished it before I arrived in Dali... A small suggestion: It is still a bit difficult to find the location of Suishan when you first come to it. It is recommended to make an electronic hand-drawn map and mark the important coordinates of the parking lot, bridge, big green tree, and Qitingyuan, so that it is easier to locate Suishan! "Staying in Nuodeng was truly one of the highlights of our one-month journey through China. The house is perfectly located, right next to the few charming restaurants and cafés of the village, and offers breathtaking views over the valley and the ancient rooftops of Nuodeng. What made this stay unforgettable, however, were the incredible hosts. Their kindness, daily attentions, and constant smiles touched our hearts deeply. Our children absolutely loved spending time with them, and it felt like being welcomed into a family rather than simply renting a room. The rooms themselves are beautifully arranged and practical, with different options to suit families or groups of all sizes. Everything was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as comfortable as possible. "This Yunshang Four Seasons Hotel in Yunlong County, Dali is really nice. As soon as I entered the lobby, the girl at the front desk called out my last name directly. I was a little surprised. She also upgraded my room, which made me feel flattered. When I asked her about the nearby fruit store, she enthusiastically introduced Tiantian Supermarket, which solved the problem. If there was not enough water to drink, it was no problem to add two more bottles. This girl had a good service attitude and was skilled in her business, which deserves praise. The rooms in this hotel are also very large, and the overall feeling is clean and tidy, very comfortable; the bedding is also good; the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the water volume, water pressure, and water temperature are also very good; parking is also convenient; Unfortunately, the breakfast in this restaurant is too simple. "In the natural surroundings of Nuodeng, this kind of B&B is quite good, but it's not as boastful as some other reviews suggest. I suspect the owner has other interests, and the B&B is just a sideline. The entrance is also undergoing extensive renovations, and there was only one housekeeper on the day I stayed. The room was clean, but the service and homelike feeling were lacking. Nuodeng is a wonderful village worth revisiting, but it's already undergoing large-scale commercial development.
