"This hotel is one of the most beautiful Hotels i ever stayed in. The location is amazing, right in the middel of town, and next to the river. The hotel has an amazing garden with a viewing platform where one can drink tea and watch the rooftops of the town and the mountains above. The staff is super friendly and are always there to help out and give tips for what to do. They also served me amazing tea. Truly overwhelmed by this hotel, and area, can't recommend it enough!"

"Come to Huangyao Ancient Town during the Dragon Boat Festival and stay at Long'an Inn, and live directly in the scenery. ✨ As soon as you leave the inn, you will see bluestone roads, quaint stone bridges, and gurgling streams. In the morning, you can see the sun shining through the ancient trees and sprinkle on the old walls. In the evening, you can listen to the river water and the rising smoke. Go downstairs and you will step into the picturesque streets. You can also enjoy the quiet night view of lanterns reflected in the water when you go out at night. The location is excellent, and you can take in the fireworks and the charm of the ancient town. The boss is warm and considerate, and the experience is full. What you encounter here is not only accommodation, but also the immersive romance of the ancient town. It must be rated five stars. I will come again next time!"

"A superb experience staying at this hotel. We extended our stay after the first day, and would definitely come back again. Location wise, if you are visiting the old town, then it is definitely the perfect spot to stay! The scenic bridge is just a corner away. It is also just 1 min walk from one of the entrances/gates of the old town(景區). What I like the most is the whole design of the hotel. It is a perfect combination of ancient and modern architecture and design. The whole place is very stylish and there are a lot of fine details like the plants and artwork arrangement. I love the tea table right at the main door, it’s made by stone and wood. There are a lot of common area in which you can either chat and enjoy tea with friends or simply read alone with a nice coffee. They have a nice rooftop with a good view of the old town. You can enjoy sunset here. Food is perfect here. They have their own chef so you don’t need to eat out, the tofu and soup are very nice, and the seasonal veg is also our pick. Most importantly it is a pets friendly place. They have 2 dogs named 向右 “Xiang you” and 將軍 “General”, they are friendly and cute. They also have a cat room accommodating over 10 cats. All are friendly and lovely. Perfect place for vacation. We look forward to our next time here at 龙麟台❤️"

"This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons. The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay. All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience."

"The sanitation is good, but the mosquitoes are a little big and a little many, probably because there are mountains, water and plants in front of the homestay. The proprietress is very nice and considerate. She turned on the air conditioner and lit mosquito coils for us in time. She helped us carry our luggage when we arrived and left. She didn't urge us to check out at the appointed time the next day, and she also invited us to drink tea very enthusiastically. The decoration is quite unique. The children in the room like to play with this kind of hammock that can climb up and down! There is no problem sleeping two children on the hammock. If the children are fat, forget it:) The homestay is very close to the South Gate and the parking lot, which is suitable for self-driving tours! But be prepared for a small room, after all, every inch of land in the ancient town is worth a lot of money!"

"I have been to many B&Bs in ancient towns, but there are very few that I can never forget. Nianju Inn is an inn that I would like to visit again after I visited it once. The decoration style of the inn is simple yet elegant, fashionable and practical. You can feel the owner's care for the inn, and he manages and decorates the inn as if it were his own home. Very clean, every decoration is carefully thought out and ready for use. The floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view, and there is a viewing platform on the top floor. You can have a panoramic view of the karst mountain shape. The simplicity of Huangyao Ancient Town is simply sitting on the platform, sipping tea and enjoying the scenery! The landlady is enthusiastic, attentive and diligent. The boss will guide you, carry your luggage, move your car for you, and remind you to drive safely. Nianju is a cultured and warm inn. If I can go to Huangyao again, I will definitely stay at Nianju."

"The hotel is located a little bit remote, about ten minutes' walk from the ancient town. The hotel decoration is very unique and has a sense of design, which I like. "We were extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! It truly made our family feel right at home! A good guesthouse elevates the entire trip's happiness! Grateful to have found it! Highly recommended! Bugu has its own parking space at the South Gate of Huangyao Ancient City. The owner arranged for us to park, and it was only about a 100-meter walk to the guesthouse, very convenient. The owner even brought out her campervan to help with our luggage, and her three-year-old dog, Chuyi, also came out to greet us – such thoughtful and attentive service! The owner's service was also incredibly considerate. Every morning she would get up early to make sandwiches, and we would enjoy her homemade sandwiches, milk coffee, freshly ground pumpkin juice, freshly ground corn juice, and a bowl of fresh, sweet mixed fruit for each of us every morning at the rooftop restaurant! Everything was super fresh and delicious. We stayed for three days and were full of energy for our trip every day. Enjoying delicious breakfasts in the brightly lit rooftop restaurant made every day a truly enjoyable experience! One thing to note is that the Star and Moon room is located on a slightly older floor, while the other two tatami rooms are in a newly renovated building.
