"While the staff were lovely and friendly, Trip had not let them know that we’d being splitting a group of 5 between two rooms so would need the sofa bed made up in one room. However, the staff quickly provided us with the sheets and pillows needed.
The rooms were clean and tidy, although the bathrooms were in need of a spruce up, with the floor tiles in both needing fixing (chipped tile in one and a sunken tile in the other). Also, there were no sockets near the bed for charging phones etc. a bit of an oversight in room design.
However, these are all minor niggles. Overall we had a nice stay."

"I know this is a budget hotel but there is a lot more effort needed. There should never be mould showing around bath seals etc. It’s an easy fix. General cleanliness poor. We had to clean areas ourselves even after being transferred to another room after complaining first room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff in general friendly and helpful. Bins outside hotel full to the brim. I have a feeling staff don’t really care to much about how hotel looks. Anyway did the job for a few nights stay. But if I had the choice I would pay extra for a better room elsewhere and hopefully cleaner."

"Breakfast was excellent. The room was nice, but the heating didn't work properly. It was freezing, after the second call they offered a separate room, but we declined since it was small. They provided an oil heater, but it wasn't sufficient to warm the room. Aside from that, the place and food were superb."

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is nice, right by the pier. The room is spacious and clean, and the facilities are very new. The parking lot is huge, making it convenient to park. Downstairs, by the pier, there's an Indian buffet restaurant with a rich variety of dishes. They have dozens of curries, plus fried fish, fried chicken, fried vegetables, and fried prawns... They replenish items promptly, and everything is freshly prepared and fried in an open kitchen.
GGlas_goVery well appointed room, clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming . Room was very warm but housekeeping quickly provided a fan to help reduce the temperature . Car parking limited but council car park available in close proximity at East Port Car Park if spaces not available. Breakfast provided a a good range of continental and cooked options .
GGuest UserThe location is good, very close to the train station, right by the river. But the sanitary condition was not ideal, the equipment was average, and the unkempt water pipe for bathing was broken, so I changed it overnight. The mobile was filled in the room, and then I went back and asked, saying that I didn’t see it...
GGuest UserAlways my first port of call when flying to Dundee. Stayed many times never been disappointed
Many things to admire about the hotel but the friendly welcome from receptionist Lesley is a treat after a long day travelling.
ZZhangsanfengdesanfengThis hotel has a large room, sunny, heating is provided every day, breakfast is delicious, small and comfortable. A bit far from the center, but it is worth staying. The staff is friendly and sincere.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, the train station is just opposite. The hotel building is very old, and the room decoration is mainly dark brown and dark purple, with very dark tones. It is far from Edinburgh.
GGuest UserRoom was big but with no view.i had no service, ordered one bottle of water and i had to went down to pick it up.the bar was shut.facilities were good enough.
