"This is a extension of the shirahama key terrace hotel next door but at a affordable price. U get to use all the amazing onsen facilities which has outdoor bath facing the ocean. Take a dip at the outdoor foot bath in morning after breakfast. The rooms are modern industrial style so it’s kind of bare looking, ok for me just to sleep. It also has a large common area with full kitchen. U can buy food from supermarket and cook super and breakfast yourself here."

"The hotel facility is excellent and perfectly clean with a high-class traditional japanese service standard. Our room was a deluxe room with private hot spring tub. It's a little pricy while I think it's perfect to celebrate the anniversary with my wife. Dinner and breakfast were good, while it may not be the best comparing with other hotels in the major cities. The sightseeing points are also within 5-10 mins driving distance from the hotel. We expected to watch the sunset at the balcony, while on that day the weather was a bit cloudy so we didn't take a nice photo here."

"Everything about this place was great! Shirahama is such a comfortable and relaxing destination, and the hotel was excellent too. The convenience stores nearby are super handy, and there's a supermarket close by for some browsing too."

"From Shirahama Station, you can take the free bus of the hot spring association to the hotel entrance. The room is unexpectedly spacious. I booked a foot bath room. I soaked my feet on the balcony at night, listened to the rain, and drank beer. It was so happy.
The bathroom in the room is relatively small, but the hotel has a hot spring. After the hot spring, I took a bath directly in the big bathhouse. I didn't use the bathroom in the room.
The location is very good. Just across the road is Shirarahama Beach, and Mingguang Bus Stop is also diagonally opposite."

Relax and enjoy a heartwarming moment, gazing out on the scenery woven by the nature.
"The onsen (hot spring) was fantastic. For men, there were two large pools (inner and outer) plus three individual pools. It was rarely crowded; during the National Day holiday, there were usually only four or five people bathing at any one time, making it perfect for Chinese guests who aren't used to Japanese hot springs. Since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, there's a large public area on the first floor where guests can heat up their own food in the microwave, have coffee, or read a book. I'd definitely go back again! 😁 (PS: I stayed at six or seven guesthouses throughout Japan, and this one had the most comfortable mattress and linens—much more comfortable than the newly renovated Marriott in Kobe. For a Fairfield brand, it was way above average. Lying on this bed after a tiring hike on the Kumano Kodo was so relaxing.) There's an island park near the hotel where you can watch the sunrise and see the sea (but the grass and trees are a bit dense, so you'll need to go with friends)."

"The room was quite spacious with a nice view, but the facilities are a bit dated. To get a completely dark room for sleeping, I had to switch off the main power switch by the door, which meant getting out of bed to turn off the remaining lights that were still on and glaring. The air conditioning was terrible; even on the lowest temperature and highest fan speed, I woke up several times at night feeling hot despite being under the covers. The buffet was just average."

"The hotel is conveniently located right by a bus stop. The onsen hotel offers a great variety of food. The dinner buffet included sashimi, and breakfast featured local specialties. The Japanese-style tatami beds were very comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the complimentary drinks bar, perfect for enjoying after a relaxing bath."

"The hotel is quiet and private, with complete facilities and enthusiastic, professional staff. We came during the off-season, so the price was very reasonable. Since we had to catch the earliest JR to the airport the next day, which was around 6 AM, the staff enthusiastically and actively helped me arrange transportation. It was indeed very early, making it difficult to find a taxi, so in the end, the hotel's car took us to the JR station. It was a truly heartwarming experience during our trip. Thank you very much!"

"We booked a twin room in a Western-style house for our wedding anniversary, and they gave us a fantastic spot with a great view. They also gifted us two cute coasters. The location is super convenient, close to everything. I'm not sure about the onsen, but my husband said it was excellent. I was very satisfied with the room; every detail was well thought out. The Chinese-speaking staff member was also very lovely. It's just a small road away from Shirarahama Beach, making transportation easy. The breakfast was a decent buffet as well. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was at checkout. It was drizzling, and the staff actually made us drag our own luggage to the bus without offering help or even an umbrella. This really felt like a big disconnect from what you'd expect from a well-established brand like Sanrakuso and Japanese service in general."

"The rooms were large and unique. It was a detached house with a private bathroom, but it got a bit noisy with so many children. There was a skylight, so the morning sun streamed in, and those sensitive to sunlight shouldn't stay up too late. The entire hotel is situated on a hilltop, offering views of distant fireworks (they happened to be there when we stayed). The market below is a must-visit. Many of the guests were Japanese."

Amazing
GGuest UserI called because I didn't know where the parking lot was and they were very helpful!
Despite making a last-minute reservation and checking in late, they had a vacancy so they moved me to a larger room, allowing me to relax in a spacious room. There are hot springs and restaurants nearby, so I think the location is convenient.
Although it doesn't have an ocean view, it was nice to be able to stay with my family at a reasonable price.
GGuest UserAlthough I only stayed in Shirahama for one night, I canceled two hotels in succession and came to Haiyue after struggling. In a quiet harbor, the boss was elegant and elegant, Lao Bai was enthusiastic and meticulous, and communication was smooth throughout the process. Opened more than a year ago, the facilities are very new, and the room is very big. You can lie on the tatami and watch the sunrise directly. You can drink up to 6 bottles of drinks a day and it is impossible to finish them. Pola toiletries have two series from makeup remover to moisturizer. There are also pigeons for children. The bathing supplies are so meticulous that they provide socks and silk eye masks. The bathing pool is super clean, and there are all kinds of ice creams for free, and the meals provided are also very rich. Despite his busy schedule, Lao Bai also drove part-time as a tour guide to take us to visit the scenic spots. He showed his sincerity in every aspect. He is already thinking about coming to Haiyue next time when the weather is hot.
GGuest UserI love this hotel so much: comfortable and spacious rooms, unobstructed sea views, complete facilities, clean, and the hotel staff is super friendly, choose with your eyes closed!!! The hotel has a modern lobby on the first floor, and there are laundry rooms and bathhouses on the first floor, which are separated by men and women! Laundry room: Wash and dry separately, 100 yen for 30 minutes, usually done in an hour, remember to pick it up in time. The second floor is a public shower room, which is separated by men and women and has strong independence. There is also a public kitchen with complete equipment. Ingredients can be bought at the seafood market. The public kitchen has everything. Other seasonings can be bought at Lawson downstairs, which is super convenient! This is the second time I came to Shirahama. This time I chose to stay in Shirahama. I stayed for a total of two nights. I chose this hotel for both nights. I went to Kii Katsuura for one night in the middle. This time I stayed in Japan for 7 nights. This hotel is my favorite hotel on this trip! I will come again next year if I have the chance!
GGuest UserRoom was comfortable, had a sea view, there was another hotel in between us and the sea, but nevertheless it was beautiful to be beside the sea.
Breakfast was tardy, staff were friendly, Onsen was big split over two floors with the highlight for me being the outdoor pool on the first floor
GGuest UserThe rooms at this hotel are very spacious and clean. There's a Chinese lady at the front desk. For men, the hot spring usually doesn't require a reservation, but ladies who want a private bath need to book in advance. The hotel only offers breakfast, no dinner. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and it's best to make reservations beforehand. The front desk lady was really helpful and booked tables for us. Sandanbeki and Senjojiki are both very close to the hotel. We stayed at several different hotels for a few days, and this was the only one that didn't provide complimentary drinks. My biggest complaint is that the room only had one air conditioning unit for heating. Even with it set to 29 degrees, it was still cold.
ЮЮрий555Grampus Shirahama A modest hotel right near the ocean. The room was clean, but the air conditioning was all dirty. I wouldn’t want to stay here in summer. The breakfast was nearly the same as in every other hotel in Japan, though the grilled fish was a bit stale. The dining room has a wonderful view over the ocean. The staff almost didn’t speak English but tried to help anyways. Plus: the hotel has its own onsen. Minus: no bathroom in the rooms, only toilets on the floor, no shower.
GGuest UserThe Japanese-style house was dismantled into a guest house. It is only for girls. It is better. It is not a mixed bag. The owner Rinji is a man, but it seems that he can't live here, so our actions are OK. If you don’t bring your own towel in the bath, use the towel at the homestay for 100yan, and wash your clothes for 100yan.
AAnonymous UserThe Chinese boss and the little girl at the front desk were also Chinese and provided us with very good service. They drove to the station and saw that we were still waiting for the bus, and gave us a ride to the fish market. They also helped us check out delicious places in the evening, allowing us to stay in a foreign land. I feel warm and the service is great!
The hotel is on the beach, and the family room has 4 single beds, which is very good. The convenience store is right opposite. There was no breakfast available during the time we went, so it was very convenient to buy something to eat! There is a large local Japanese supermarket Gourmet City within 50 meters, where you can buy fireworks. The freedom of fireworks on the beach at night is a great happiness for children in the city! The roast pork shop run by an old lady next door is a treasure shop, with good value for money and good taste. There is no need to queue up to join in the fun. Like it, I will come again next time!
GGeraldLim1Beautiful Ryokan! The room I stayed in had tatami floors and western beds. The doors slide instead of open outwards like they usually do. Toilets are relatively small, but the shower had great water pressure and temperature! However we did not shower much because.. We showered at the Onsen instead since we were there to spend time! The Onsen is tattoo-friendly as confirmed by the check in staff, and the water really had skin smoothing effects. Yukatas are available at lobby area for all guests, and level two has a restaurant with microwave and ice machine outside for your konbini meals. No view from the room, but that's fine cos the Onsen itself was worth a visit. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to. Rooms were comfy, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Side note: my underwear got stolen at the onsen and I never managed to find it back again but that's fine cos it was worth the Onsen experience. Stayed two nights here, no regrets, would totally do it again! Oh and Onsen area has got numbered lockers to store your belongings but not your undies!
GGuest UserArrive at JR Shirahama Station and then transfer to the taxi for about 4 minutes. It is very close to Toretore market and can be reached on foot. The rooms are panda-shaped and spacious inside. Dinner and breakfast are buffet style
