"The hotel is standing on the hill looking down Sasebo harbor. You can see the islands in Saikai National Park depends on the room direction. They have a big bath and the private bath both. Driving up the hill may be a little challenging because the road is narrow and winding. Hotel stuffs are very polite and helpful. Breath taking view with a hotel pool where people use for the wedding reception. Just another beauty of Japan."

The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, ranging from traditional Japanese dishes to international favourites. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and replenished frequently. Whether you prefer a light continental breakfast or a hearty Japanese meal to start your day, the breakfast at Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch caters to all tastes and dietary needs. Spacious and Well-Equipped Onsen The onsen (hot spring bath) facilities at this hotel are truly remarkable. The area is spacious, immaculately clean, and exudes a relaxing ambiance. There are several pools with different temperatures, allowing guests to find their ideal comfort level. The amenities provided — such as towels, toiletries, and relaxation spaces — are of excellent quality. After a long day exploring Huis Ten Bosch, soaking in the large onsen was the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. Comfort and Convenience My room was modern, well-maintained, and offered stunning views of the surrounding gardens. The bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The location is ideal — just a short walk from the Huis Ten Bosch theme park, and conveniently connected to transport links. Final Thoughts Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of great hospitality, a top-class breakfast, and outstanding onsen facilities makes it an excellent choice for anyone visiting the area. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future."

"The hotel is right at the entrance of JR Sasebo. You can see it when you exit the train station. The location is very good. There are shopping malls and restaurants at the door. The port and business are on the other side of the train station. The room is average, and the sound insulation is slightly poor."

"The hotel is a bit out of the way; without a shuttle bus, getting there on foot would be quite a struggle. While the hotel itself doesn't have a large public bath, there's one available for guests of all five official Huis Ten Bosch hotels, with a shuttle bus connecting them. However, as it's shared by multiple hotels, it tends to get quite crowded. The rooms are quite spacious, but the decor is rather simple. If you're looking for a stronger European ambiance, I'd recommend staying at one of the other four official hotels."

"Great in value for families who are planning to go Huis Ten Bosch park. The room is spacious and have everything you need. There’s hotel shuttle runs every 20 min to bring you to the park. If you arrive after 7pm, call the hotel reception at the luggage reception (in car park 2), they will send car to come and fetch you. Great service!"

"I choose this hotel just because it’s close to kujuku cruise and has large parking space. Don’t expect too much except its location. There’s a free shuttle to Sasebo station. I wait for the last shuttle back to the hotel at the drop off/ pick up point. I was there more than 10 minutes before but the shuttle didn’t come. Luckily there’s a taxi station nearby. But it’s disappointing."

"I had been looking forward to staying at Huis Ten Bosch on this trip, so I chose the Amsterdam Hotel. Checking in was a bit of a hassle, as you had to enter the park and then take a shuttle bus to the hotel. The hotel's exterior resembles a classical European building, and from a distance, it felt like you were truly in the Netherlands. The lobby is spacious and high-ceilinged, with European-style decor, giving you the feeling of being transported to another country the moment you enter. The front desk staff was very friendly, and the check-in process was quick. They also provided a brief introduction to the park's activities and transportation. The room was more spacious than I expected, decorated in a European-style elegance. The window overlooked the park's canals and streets, a truly captivating sight. At night, the park, illuminated, reflected in the water, created a truly fairytale-like atmosphere. We specifically chose an exterior room so we could watch the fireworks, but ultimately we enjoyed the spectacular display downstairs with other guests. With multiple restaurants and a convenience store within the park, there was no shortage of food. Being right inside the park, the hotel was within easy reach, allowing for immediate exploration, making it much more convenient than staying outside the park. There's also a large bathhouse within the park, which also requires a shuttle bus to reach, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, the Amsterdam Hotel felt like more than just accommodation; it was a complete part of the trip. The atmosphere, convenience, and service were all unforgettable. If I were to visit Huis Ten Bosch again, I would definitely stay there again, and I'd even recommend it to first-time visitors. Combining both entertainment and accommodation is the true essence of Huis Ten Bosch."
