"Great location and the facilities are decent for the price. Lots of restaurants and food options nearby, plus a nice ocean view. There's a Starbucks right next door, so no worries about coffee. "The hotel is a five minute walk from the intercity bus terminal, but it takes about a 30 minute bus ride to get into the city centre. The room is very clean and comfortable, however there was no hair conditioner provided. Check in required a phone call to receive room information and passcode, but staff were very helpful and guided me through the whole process."

"Lahan Hotel had a great view of the East Sea and Pohang Space Walk and was very clean and well furnished. Shower amenities (shampoo, soap and body lotion) have a stronger scent than most hotels (tabacoo scented) and may be a hit or miss for travellers. Location was also convenient, with just a short walk to Yeongildae Beach and eateries along the beach street. Many buses also have routes along the Main Street which made it easy and convenient to explore Pohang. The reception staff were also very helpful and gave us helpful advice for our itinerary and plans based on their local knowledge (:"

"It is a gem. The service is remarkable. We have issue with parking fine and do not know how to resolve it. They went an extra mile to find a parking warden to settle it for us. The hotel also has a lot of free service, even though we didn't have breakfast. There are free flow bread and spread and coffee and fruit juices and packet drinks for you, enough to fill your stomach. What's more, it is located just in front of the beach. Oh, last but not least, our room comes with a massage chair which is handy to relieve your aches from all the walking. Definitely going to go back if there are opportunities."

"There was a parking space and the parking attendant was friendly, so it was good.
When I made my reservation, the difference between the city view and the ocean view was about 20,000 won,
but the city view was pretty good.
The room was clean and nice, but..
but it was a little disappointing that there was no bathtubㅠㅠ
I was looking forward to the toast breakfast, but..
I couldn't eat because I checked out early, so I only had a cup of coffee..
The coffee smelled good and it was good enough for waking up early.

"The location was great for enjoying Yeongildae's night view and the ocean sunrise, and it was conveniently close to many good restaurants, making it a comfortable place to stay. It seemed like the room was booked at a relatively low price due to an app error, but the staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful, which made for an even more pleasant start to our stay. The room had a styler, and the bed and bedding were cozy and in good condition, allowing for a comfortable rest. You could tell it had been meticulously renovated with quality materials, which contributed to a high overall satisfaction. The breakfast also had a decent variety of options, perfect for a leisurely meal after a morning stroll."

"The service was excellent! The young owners went over and beyond call of duty to help and accommodate me during my stay. I stayed for a few days and loved the room. The whole guesthouse was very interesting. The decor was great. Also, the young owners love animals and fish. This made the first floor very interesting. I am really grateful for their help in recommendations and directions. As I have said, they went out of their way to help me!"

The motel location is great since it is near a fairly large grocery store, convenience store, several restaurants, and public transportation locations.
There are many places that can be easily reached by foot, so this was a plus for me.

However, maybe it won't fit for you if you are looking for West-style hotel, but anyway worth trying!

The room was huge! It was a 10-minute walk to Jukdo Market? The location was great!
The staff were all friendly, helped with parking, and the breakfast was excellent!
More than anything, the beds, blankets, and pillows were all comfortable! Thanks to them, we had a great time and rested well!
I would definitely come back.

豆豆豆苗苗The hotel is new and clean. The room is spacious, with a 1.9-meter bed. The bathroom light is sensor-activated. A simple breakfast is provided: cup noodles, bread, coffee, tea, and abalone porridge, but requests must be made a day in advance. It's close to the station, a five-minute walk away.
The only thing about the hotel is that check-in must be at 4:00 PM, and there's a fee for advance check-in. The front desk insisted that children would be charged an additional fee, and also calculated the Korean age, adding an extra 10,000 won. It felt like a random price, only to be told it wasn't necessary. This wasn't explained at all before booking!

The front desk staff were so friendly that I felt good until check-in and check-out.
In terms of location, it is not much different from other accommodations, but all the amenities are adjacent, but I think I will visit again here 👍👍

GGuest UserJust accross the sea and about 1km plus from Homigot, you can just stroll along the beach road and it will reach the Homigot square.. love it.. they have tools for outdoor BBQ.. the staff cannot speak English but they did provide you with English version for rules to follow and use phone translation to communicate and thats not an issue for me.. if you driving you can go to seafood market they are popular with snow crab or Japanese house street for cafe and history just few KMs from the place..

The facilities are more like a motel than a hotel, but the cost-effectiveness is not bad.
You can go up to the hotel through the cafe on the first floor, and the parking is a mechanical system that puts the car in the tower, and the manager is very kind.
Overall, I was satisfied, but the furniture and facilities felt a bit old..

TTried II came here on a business trip and rested comfortably! The room condition was good and the first floor was very well decorated, which was nice. The ramen was delicious, and the breakfast I had the next day was the best. The staff was also friendly~

AAnonymous UserIts a pity that the upper floor rooms got occupied so we were assigned to lower floor and the room was facing n pretty close to a construction next to the hotel and so we were worrying abt the dust and noise and a bit disappointed with the ‘seaview’ outside the terrace… luckily the front desk lady offered us another room on the same floor facing the carpark instead so the sea is really just one car away and it feels so much better :] she even offer us to check the rooftop family that comes with jacuzzi but we didnt bring out swimsuits so its out of our consideration.
The room is huge and the view is superb, except 1. it d be better if theres a door/curtain for the toilet/bathroom area for privacy and also noise isolation; 2. The fridge and rubbish bin are a bit too small for a family-sized guests; 3. Lacking racks/hooks to hang clothes and towels when u shower, a bit inconvenient…
However everything else is awesome, they hv clothing disinfectant machine provided in the room, a giant size tv which is good for family, amenity kits come with most of the things u need including facial cleanser/toner/moisturiser. Theres a coffee machine and ice making machine at the lobby so u can het ur everyday coffee free. Also the public terrace on 10/f is super nice n chill with the sea view, its both nice both day n night, highly recommend!
There are tons of restaurants mostly grilled meat/seafood dishes in the neighbourhood as its right next to the famous beach where ppl comes here for the yeonglidae pavillion, which looks nice at night! Space walk is also nearby. The locals all do their morning exercise walk by strolling along the seashore bare feet! Theres a shoe rack storage and feet washing facilities provided so u can come enjoy bare-foot walking in empty hands and leave clean and dry!
Its a nice stay and i would recommend to others!

EEffyOhhWe only stayed for one night. The check-in was early so we could leave our stuff there and go travel around. Close to bus stops so convenient. Cleanliness was OK but very old shower and amenities.
Only 2 plugins in the entire room for a fridge, a TV, our phones, the WiFi box, etc.. so we couldn't use the TV while charging our phones overnight
