"I booked VIP room but it doesn't justify it. The room smells cigarette smoke which supposed to be a smoke-free room. The AC didn't give enough cool air for the room, I was sweating the whole time and I need to use my hand fan as back up. The floor has a lot of dust. The bed cover has yellowish stain. No trash bin, blanket, and remote when I entered the room, I requested immediately but only the blanket and trash bin was delivered right away. I followed-up twice for the remote, it was delivered on my last follow-up in the evening, it took them 6 hours for it. pic for attachment only"

"The room was clean .but during this time i just noticed that the ac wasnt cool as i expected . I already set it to the fullest temperature but still its not giving the coldness that i want. I think the ac wasnt working properly in my tiredness that night i didnt not complain to the staff coz in my thinking they will transfer me in other room so i need to packed and unpacked my things which i cant coz im too sleepy so i decided not to tell this and i thought that maybe after how many hours staying in the room it will get cold but its not its just like using a fan a lil bit ."

"The location is nice, buys - nearby you will find many malls, restaurant, and the Monumento is close from where you have multiple options for transportation, including the LRT. The station for the latter is right next to the hotel. The staff was almost always nice and polite, I don't have anything bad on them. When we asked something, generally we were served quickly and nicely. One can order ice for free, and by paying many different foods and canned beers as well to the room if needed. The room is mostly clean, but when I observed a cleaning, I could see it is rather hasty and not very thorough. But this is not the most severe problem. The most severe problem I'd say that the humidity is incredible. Most of the rooms don't have a window, and the country is already rather humid. Rooms have bathrooms, so there will be water to increase it further. If you spill a drop of water on the desk, two days later you will find that drop of water at the exact same position. The result of this humidity is fungus. Black and grey colored fungus on the ceiling, on some of your clothes after a few days (!!!) stay, on the walls. I am sure the walls and ceiling is regularly repainted. There is some kind of ventilation, and there is aircon too, but their performance have absolutely no chance to be effective against this. We needed to change our first room, it looked so shocking, the second room looked OK at first, then turned into similar in a few days. If you need a room for a few hours, a night, then I guess it can be fine. But I can not recommend staying any longer unless you are prepared for this."

"When we arrived there, no room was available because many bookings had been made through trip.com. They said they had no control over the bookings made on the platform, even though the available rooms were limited. The room I originally booked was Regency, but we were given a Premium room instead. However, they allowed us to stay for 22 hours. The only downside was that when we arrived, there was no available room even though we had already booked for that day. They said many bookings had been made through trip.com, and they had limited rooms. The good thing was that they still accommodated us and allowed us to stay for 22 hours. Although we arrived a bit late, we had informed them in advance that we would be late that day."

"Had a pleasant stay at Sobel Hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is convenient and easily accessible, which made it easy for us to get around. Overall, it was a good value for money and I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again."
