"Hilltop Haven" was built in 2008 and is a premier lakehouse destination on Tennessee’s Center Hill Lake in Smithville. Located only fifteen minutes away from Sligo Marina, 75 minutes from downtown Nashville and an hour from the airport. At over 4,000 square feet, the spacious five bedroom, three full bath, two-story lakehouse is a quiet and secluded retreat located on a dead end cul-de-sac. Only two houses are on the street. It is the perfect destination for a family vacation, reunion or getaway with friends.Recently decorated with comfortable, plush furniture, Hilltop Haven invites an afternoon on the deck with a 180-degree view of the lake or a lively day of jet skis and pontoon boat rides (available for rental at Sligo Marina). There is no better getaway for watching the famous autumnal Tennessee leaves change while relaxing in the hammock, sitting in the adirondack chairs around the firepit, or grilling out on the two story deck overlooking Center Hill Lake. The front yard and surrounding area have seen kite-flying, frisbee games, and many short hikes for all levels of experience. There are two bikes available to explore. At the heart of the house is a culinary foodies dream kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, including a Keurig and Vitamix. Seating for fourteen in the dining room and breakfast room. A large gas grill is located on the top deck, with sweeping views of Center Hill Lake, with seating for six at the table on the upper deck. The house sleeps eighteen including two bunk beds, a fold out sofa, located in the fifth bedroom/playroom and two Queen inflatable air mattresses. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the main floor and two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the first floor. Flatscreens and Apple TVs (use your own login for netflix, hulu and amazon) are in the living room, den, playroom and master bedroom. We do not have cable TV. SONOS sound system keeps music streaming throughout the home, and wireless internet keeps you connected in every room. Wood burning fireplaces (wood provided) are located in the living room and master bedroom. Oversized washer and dryer and an ice maker are in the laundry room. Beach towels and a cooler are provided for your day on the lake. Beautiful and NEW cottage located at the Cottages at Getaway Cove in beautiful Smithville, TN and near Center Hill Lake. Sitting on a sprawling 13 acres of land full of wildlife. There is plenty of room for boat trailer parking if you need it. The cottage is less than 1/2 mile to Four Seasons marina and boat dock, which is located in the subdivision. The cottage is a perfect getaway for families and kids love the bunk room. The home is perfect to rent alone, but we have another cottage next door that family and friends can rent as well. There is a grilling pavilion for fun cookouts and get togethers that’s covered with gas grill. The pavilion is shared with one cottage located next door. This newly renovated house on Center Hill Lake has 3 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms and sleeps 10 comfortably (12 using the memory-foam pull-out). Most houses on Center Hill Lake you need to choose between a view of the lake and access to the lake. Here you have a great view and you are only steps from the lake for swimming or the boat ramp. The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher) with a 5-burner stove and large granite island - great for entertaining. The gorgeous kitchen table is made from reclaimed barnwood threshing floor and easily seats 10 adults. You'll love the amazing lake view from the large front deck, which you can enjoy from the rockers, large swing bed (with memory foam mattress) or picnic table. There are two large 55" Smart TVs with Netflix, Amazon, and good Wifi throughout the house. The master bedroom has a new king bed and master bath with a sliding glass door entrance to the deck.The second upstairs bedroom has a new queen memory foam mattress with a door to the second upstairs bath. There is another queen memory-foam pull-out from the upstairs couch, so squeeze in another two if you want!The entire downstairs is completely new and sports a game room with foosball, a card table, and skeeball. One wall is covered in reclaimed barnwood and there is a large sectional with two recliners. The downstairs bedroom has two bunkbeds; one has a full mattress on the bottom, twin on top and the other has a queen on bottom and twin XL on top. The bunkbeds are hand crafted from reclaimed barnwood. The downstairs bath has a vanity also hand crafted from reclaimed barnwood and a full tub/shower. You will have access to a no-fee boat ramp (ramp is unpaved) only a few hundred feet away and the property is very boat friendly - there is ample parking and the driveway runs completely around the house so don't worry about tight maneuvering!There is a high-quality park-style charcoal grill for amazing grilling.You will love our house and you cannot beat the location; great views from a secluded retreat in the woods.
