Girdwood brewing is a 7 minute walk, (3 if you cut through the meadow!) Alyeska resort of course provides the best of Alaska resort skiing and also backcountry/heli-skiing adventures nearby. Winner creek is a great hiking trail in the summer. If you don't mind some vertical elevation, the North Face Trail is open in the summer and rewards you with great views of the turnagain arm mountains. When you come back to the condo have a cozy night at home by the gas fireplace watching a movie on the big screen TV. Need to work from home? No problem! The condo has high speed internet as well. On warmer days, open all the windows and from any room you can enjoy the pleasant babbling from the small creek that runs through the property. Our young boys have spent hours playing in the creek during the summer months – your kids or grandkids will too.
