"We travelled with our dear mother and wanted to give her a treat as we may not get the oppertunity again. Wow, did we find a winner in this lovely country town! We had a few days to catch up with family who were local, having a luxtury hotel to base ourselves made the trip very special. Working out the best room and making a booking on-line became a little confusing and we almost past up the idea however, a quick phone call to reception proved magic. They could not have been more helpful in looking up the best deals for our dates, securing the booking and ensuring we had all the information required. Oxford On Otho is wonderfully situated for easy access to town, resterants and actrations. The tranformation of the old hotel is ongoing and you can see the potential. A big 4.5 stars overall from me, the minor things noticed by my picky eye not worth making note of. Loved the cafe', just left going out the front door. Staff were super friendly and the food presentation plus quality 5 star.  Coming from a major city we were caught out while traveling as Monday and Tuesday are days off for many cafe' / resterants in small NSW towns. It is easy to find a work around, there is always somewhere open, as long as your flexability and attitude is. Worth the stay and happy memories."

"I booked my 5 night accommodation in September for the Christmas break,and sadly had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. I at no time over the phone when booking was I informed I’d lose my deposit if I cancelled. I gave them 86 days notice and had no idea I’d lose my money. I think they presumed I’d read the webpage but I didn’t. Not happy at all as it wasn’t a small amount but several hundred dollars."

"Exceptionally clean room, above and beyond welcoming services, excellent food in restaurant. Generous serves too. Restaurant staff are great. We felt like we were home, truly, the welcome and friendly hospitality was something that is rare these days. The manager and wife are lovely and waved us off today. Great location and under cover parking. You won’t be disappointed staying here. We will definitely stay again in future. A true asset to Inverell."
