"We stayed 3 days in this excellent hotel, opened in 2024. On arrival, the reception was efficient and friendly, including a talk about the history of the building and the origin of the hotel. The decoration is both modern an elegant. We were upgraded in a spacious superior room with all the fixtures expected in a 5-star accommodation. Everything works perfectly, from the spotless bathroom equipment to the air-conditioning. Breakfast offers a very large selection of Greek and international items, the fruit juices are fresh, hot beverages are beyond critic and served efficiently in a friendly atmosphere. The adjoining restaurant offers a limited choice of dishes (compared with the profusion seen in Greek tavernas); the cuisine can be qualified "bistronomic", informal but refined. We liked specifically the octopus carpaccio. We didn't use the spa (provisionally offered in a nearby hotel). Even considering low-season tariffs, the price-quality ratio of the Stoes boutique Hotel was incredible. We didn't find room for critics and would certainly return if stopping in Ioannina."

Location is very good and next to old town, shops, restaurants, and the lake. Self managed apartment style residence so there is no front desk or reception. Be sure to get check in details from property before arrival to ensure smooth check in. Overall I enjoyed my stay"

The first time I chose Frontzu Politeia was due to its proximity to the Theatre of the Society for Epirotic Studies (also known as Theatre Frontzu). I loved this place and then we returned as a whole family. The rooms are cute and very clean. The service amazing. The food delicious. There is a playground open during the summer period - free of charge for the hotel guests. Looking forward to revisiting Frontzu Ioannina when in Ioannina."

"This a very good choice; a simple budget hotel that is a little dated but perfectly clean. The staff is very nice. And it is located in the center, close to many coffee places and bakeries. My room had a refrigerator and air conditioner. It is a little noisy because of the location but with windows closed I did not hear anything."
