Shizukuishi Prince Hotel

Shizukuishi Prince Hotel

📍 Takakuraonsen, Shizukuishi
★★★★ 8.3 (46 reviews)

"The hotel shuttle from Morioka Station takes about 45 minutes. The room was clean, but the Wi-Fi was a bit slow. The breakfast and dinner options were pretty much the same every day. The best part was definitely the ski resort; there were hardly ever any queues."

"The experience was great, every staff member treated foreign tourists like us kindly, the house was very clean, the hot spring temperature was high enough and very comfortable, and I had a wonderful holiday here, I highly recommend this accommodation."

Hotel Uguisu

Hotel Uguisu

📍 Oshuku, Dai 7 Chiwari−28, Shizukuishi
★★★ 8.0 (1 reviews)

"It's quite far from the station, but there is a shuttle service so you don't need to rent a car. There are a few hot spring inns in the area, but it's not a tourist spot, so there aren't many places to play or eat nearby, so I'm glad I chose the meals included option. There is a river, so the only sightseeing you can do is walk around the river and enjoy the foot bath. Breakfast and dinner are brought to your room. Dinner was really filling and I was able to eat a hearty meal. The hot spring is also directly drawn from the source. The facilities are old, but considering the price, I think it's good."

"I had business nearby and needed a place to stay, so I stayed here. There are no special facilities and the building is old, but it was perfectly fine for just staying overnight, and it was cheap, so I was very grateful. There is flat parking, so loading and unloading luggage is easy. It was a peaceful place surrounded by greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and I found it very relaxing."

Shizukuishi Prince Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel's hot spring rooms are a bit dated, but they offer great value for money during ski season. It's more convenient if you're driving, and you can head to Morioka for dinner and shopping in the evening."

"It appears that day-use bathing will be discontinued as of May 31, 2026. Please take note. Those with multi-visit passes can continue to use them as before."

Tabist Shizukuishi Resort Hotel ★★★
"My family and I stayed here the other day. As we have two children, we booked this hotel based on the size of the beds and bathroom. Thank you for your courteous response to my reservation issue. The covered parking was very helpful, and I really appreciated it when it rained heavily. The staff were very friendly and we had a pleasant stay. The room and the breakfast, which I had been secretly looking forward to, were both excellent. Everything was delicious. I love tea, and this was my first time trying syrup in my tea, so I was delighted by this innovative service. My kids loved it! They said they want to stay here again! It was heartwarming to see them having fun in the bath and my son, who is a small eater, enjoying a hearty breakfast and saying it was delicious. My family was very satisfied, and I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. Thank you for the wonderful memories."

Hotel Kagasuke ★★★
"After the renewal, I stayed with my family for 3 generations. In conclusion, all-inclusive and all-you-can-drink, and dinner changed from individual offering to buffet. It also became a prepaid money system at check-in. The price is about double 1.5. The lobby and bath were clean, but the rooms have not changed. Until now, I had the landlady greet me at check-in, but suddenly I was charged by a young employee (prepaid money system), and the excitement when I came to the inn disappeared. Overall, the inn name is Kagasuke, but the contents are different. The number of customers is increasing than before, but for me, I liked Kagasuke before a little calm. I was a little relieved that the lady came out at check-out."
