"It's a very large complex with several buildings. Our room was in the Perla building and was quite spacious. The air conditioning worked great. There was a mini-fridge that kept things very cold and a safe. The furniture was fairly new, and the bathroom was also renovated. However, the walls were quite scuffed and could use a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the views from the restaurant were beautiful. There's a pool and direct access to the beach. They don't provide specific beach/pool towels (you can use the ones from your room). There's also a large free parking lot. It's a bit of a walk from the center of Izola, about 25 minutes on foot."

"Amazing hotel and staff. We stayed here to visit family in Izola and felt everything about it was 5 star !! Nina was incredible assisting me with my early morning wake ups and the need for coffee. Staff went above and beyond to make sure guests were happy and I have to mention the coffee here was the best we had in Slovenia. Rooms are spacious and luxurious, beds are super comfy as are the pillows. Breakfast is fantastic, they have all you could need. We will definitely be back when we return and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Thank you"

"Beach nearby, parking, water slope, bathroom master, dance animation, beach bars - that was all really fine. Rooms with balcony and sea view. Air conditioning, safe, minibar - everything you need. The receptionists were also very friendly and helpful. The only communication with the hotel management in the forefront was insufficient. My question about half-pension (I only booked with breakfast) was never answered despite multiple contact attempts. On the site, I was paid half-pension (and delivered), without being informed about options, offer and price. So my questions (e-mail) were obviously arrived, but not answered. I was just confronted with the facts. For all the evils the (night)buffet was also little child-friendly."

"The rooms in the hotel are new and really nice. My room didn't have a sea view but it had a great big balcony. The restaurant is also OK. Unfortunately not as cozy but a good selection of food. Drinks not so cheap"

"A basic hotel in a convenient location. You can park your car in the hotel yard and you can get drinks from the vending machine around the clock. The service is average and the decor modest. However, the premises are clean and the room has a functional bathroom and a reasonable bed. The refrigerator was found and the air conditioning pump does not blow directly into the bed. Good, so. The selection of meats for breakfast is in a class of its own, and you can also find something lighter to eat. Sweet this and that. An okay place to spend the night, but not the most comfortable place for a longer stay."

"I recently stayed at this hotel as the leader of a school group from a well-respected high school, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing – particularly at check-in. The reception staff insisted that every individual in our group pay a security deposit, even though this had never been communicated to our travel agency beforehand. When our guide questioned this, citing previous visits with other groups that were never required to pay such a deposit, the staff responded that the policy applied specifically because we were a school group. This discriminatory approach was unsettling. Furthermore, we were presented with a list of punitive rules – warning us about consequences for breaking items, taking food from the canteen, etc. – which felt more like threats than helpful guidelines. The entire interaction left a very negative first impression. We were housed in the oldest building on the property, which had extremely thin walls and doors. Ironically, our students were quiet and respectful throughout the stay, while adult guests were much louder – yet it seemed they weren’t subjected to the same scrutiny or warnings we received. The meals were mediocre overall, particularly dinner. On the first day, the chicken served was undercooked, prompting our guide to raise the issue with reception. Given the unwelcoming reception, poor communication, and average food, I would not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others – especially not for organized school trips."
