"The rules at this first-time guesthouse were more numerous than at a five-star hotel!! The front desk service was completely inhumane and inflexible! I asked myself if I had taken advantage of the guesthouse in any way, and I wouldn't have made excuses to avoid paying the fees, but the front desk just kept saying "no, we can't, that's our policy, it can't be changed!" They had absolutely no awareness of serving guests and solving their problems! Also, during check-in, the front desk staff were constantly on their phones. If they had urgent business to attend to, they could have temporarily stopped serving me or sent someone else; it felt a bit disrespectful. (Maybe my expectations are too high!) But that's not the most important thing! Here's the key point why I gave it such a low rating: The online pictures made the room seem quite large, with a tatami area, so I thought it would be fine for adults and children to sleep together. I booked a family room, but in reality, both the room size and room number were quite small, and we felt it wasn't enough to sleep comfortably. We wanted to book another room for a more comfortable stay, but it was full this weekend. We understood and asked the front desk for two extra blankets and pillows, explaining that they were full and there weren't any extras. They said they could only use duvet covers instead of blankets and pillows. Okay, then give me four duvet covers. The front desk replied that they couldn't, they could only give two. I got angry! Are duvet covers so scarce? I said no, I needed at least three duvet covers. Then the front desk replied that they needed to ask their manager and wait for approval! What kind of government department is this? They need to apply for even one duvet cover? I said I absolutely needed three, no less! Then the front desk said that if they brought blankets from another room, I would have to pay for a bed in the dormitory! I'm absolutely furious! I tried to book another room but they said they were fully booked. They even asked for a bed fee if I asked for a blanket. What kind of logic is that?! I'm so angry I want to leave right now. I feel like I've wasted over 700 yuan on this room. I'm blacklisting this guesthouse forever and spreading the word!"

"This B&B is on the top of a mountain. I wasn’t familiar with the place and didn’t add enough oil to get up there. Fortunately, the B&B got some oil. The dog at the B&B was very well-behaved and cute. However, the B&B room was a bit damp and the walls were moldy. The faucet is also broken, the water temperature is not easy to adjust, and the toilet hygiene is not in place."
